Obviously you have a super power in terms of how fast you read. But I am honestly more impressed about the fact that you can read a whole fantasy book in one sitting 😅 I can do it with romance but with fantasy I feel like my brain gets totally fried/super tired. How do you do it fr
I honestly don’t even know how myself!! I think I’ve gotten lucky falling into fantasy book series I really LOVE so I just HAVE to binge the books and can’t put them down until it’s read 😅 I’m waiting for a reading slump to hit or to pick up bad books but so far I’m just loving what I’m reading 🥹
I really recommend the Ever Seas series and the broken kingdom series! The broken kingdom series has 9 books and follows the parents of the characters from the Ever Seas. You don't have to read broken kingdom first, but its recommended because you then get to read about their children in Ever seas!
Yay! A new vlog☺️ hope you are enjoying your holiday 🫶 so crazy that you have such a small TBR !! Can’t wait to see what you bought to read on your holiday !💖
I swear my TBR is huge and then a month later it’s almost gone with the rate I read 🤣😭 I will need to do a big book shop once I’m back from my holiday 👀
Love these kinds of videos. I found your tiktok 2 days ago and am working my way through your videos on there and here. You are definitely helping motivate me to read more and get out of my little slump. Somehow i went from my best reading month in april (5 books) to one of my worst in a long time in May (1 manga). So i'm hoping June will be better. I used to be such a fast reader but i dont know what happened suddenly im slowing down :( The worst nightmare lol
Ahhhh I’m so glad you’re here, thank you for watching 🫶🏼 it doesn’t matter if you read 1 book a month or 100 as long as you’re enjoying the books you’re reading!! Slumping out when you don’t want to is always a drag but it comes in waves for all of us so I’m sure it will pick back up for you soon 💖
You should read "The House in the Cerulean Sea" and then "Under the Whispering Door." They're LGBTQ+ and twee, and a bit slow to get into but it's like a warm blanket after you get in. Definitely read THITCS before UTWD, as UTWD is darker.
Your explanation of a liar’s twisted tongue sounded a lot like a book that is self published to me. Looked it up, and it is🫣. So that does explain the weird jumps and such.
I read a looot of self published, indie authors that have written AMAZING books. I love so many indie fantasy romance books but this one was just bad 😭
@@emmyrosam So your tendency to read faster than a bullet is quite innate? I'm envious. Think of reading Dostoyevski's, Tolstoy's and Dickens' works during the summer vacation! Any tips?

"There are so many words on these pages" I need that on a T-shirt 😅Have you ever experienced a reading slump ? Recently I've been dreading to pick up another book after reading a mediocre one/a book that absolutely wasn't for me or a dnf. 🙃Also, have you ever read anything by V.E. Schwab ? I think you would really enjoy her fantasy novels.😊P.S. loved the slightly longer reading vlog.😇
I am still waiting for a proper reading slump to hit me, it’s been 3 months of good reading so far!! 😅 I’ve not read any of her books but I have a few on my want to read list - do you have any recommendations on what I should read of hers first? 👀
@@emmyrosam I absolutely loved The invisible life of Addie LaRue, A Darker Shade of Magic (Trilogy) and Vicious (Vengeful is the second book).😇It doesn’t really matter with which book (series) you start. But if you want more action and more fantasy you should start with A Darker Shade of Magic.🪄
Yess, please do a finishing series you're in the middle of!! (and show us the list)
Ok I’m on it 🥰

Omg she reads so fast like she’ll read 554 pages and I’m just proud of myself if I read a chapter 😮😅😊
you should do a reading challenge where your followers pick what you read for a week!! like a poll on tiktok or something
I would LOVE to do this!! Just seen I can do polls on TikTok stories so I might just have to do this soon 👀
so excited to be watching this!! found out about your tiktok & youtube a day ago and have been binging everything 🩷
Ahh yay thank you so much for watching 🥰🫶🏼

yayyyy! i love these kind of videos
Wooooo 🫶🏼
okay i am in awe at how quickly you can read and fully comprehend the book 🤩
I recommend the song of the marked series on kindle unlimited. It’s slowish burn and enemies to lovers with plot twists.
Also a court this cruel and lovely series. Although warning mmc is pretty possessive. I loved it but it’s probably not everybody’s thing. Lol
Oooo I have the first book of a court this cruel and lovely I just haven’t gotten around to reading it yet so might bump it up my tbr 👀
I love these kinds of videos and yours turned out really entertaining, Emmy🥰
YAYYY🎉 been waiting for another vlog❤️ and 30mins even better !!!!

You are my favourite booktuber ever 🥹 looove to watch your vids, they make me so happy
Your comment is going to make me cry 🥹🫶🏼
laughing so much at "i feel like im in this relationship" 😂 that's exactly what reading that series is like
I practically know both the characters better than themselves at this point 😭🤣

💖
Could you do a video of your top 10 (or more🤭) Romantasy books?!
I am now motivated to read from blood and ash again.

I did not know you run a marketing agency! I’m in marketing and curious about agency life. I always love your vlogs :))
I have a few videos sharing my work / vlogging my work days! It’s very full on and varies day to day but I love it 🥰
When you listen to an audiobook, what speed do you listen on?
I don’t actually listen to audiobooks but I need to get into them 😅
Have you ever read some classic books? Are you able to keep the same joyride speed while reading them?
Yeah I have, I read a lot of classics in my teens and my reading speed has always been the same I just don’t particularly enjoy reading them!

DAMN that’s insane. You’re blessed
I feel like a lot of books could do with editing/being cut down these days

Cool video. You should look for author Stacy James Meadows. Great informative video with interesting insights. ❤
