Yes sometimes especially with kyosho with the #'s on a big bag with many parts is usually the type you mess up on and get the wrong stuff. Thanks for looking.
That's strange for plastic, normally body mounts are softer plastic. That steering rod the end seems thin, I would be tempted to make my own ones. Kyosho have always been not so good for spares.
Ours broke one of the rear shock housings because of bad plastic. Maybe it is the shock oil that makes it brittle. I finally got the right spur gear for ours so we can get it up n running again. I put shocks from my redcat gen 8 on it. Maybe not the best choice but I had em laying around
It is odd the way you describe it falling apart like that. Almost wonder it if was just a defective part when it was made, like the chemical mix was of. Strang things happen! Glad you got it fixed and it you also had some spares on hand! Kyosho is pretty iffy about if you are going to be able to find a part in stock or not! have a great weekend Steve!
The van is back in action for the holiday weekend 😀😀👍👍
Oh yeah!
Great fix. Modern plastics's missing softener chemicals. Want the old unhealthy stuff back.😂.
Nice to see, I'm not the only one buying wrong stuff.😊

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about that steering rod end also!
King of RC repair
😁👍
I love this body❤️🔥💪
😁👍
Nice fix Steve! Luckily you already had the other part on hand!
As much as I like Kyosho, getting parts can be difficult sometimes!👍😊
Yeah stinks trying to locate parts for them. Thanks HD!

Dude I think any shocks better than these mad van shocks! LOL!!!
One benefit to getting a bag of parts was that you already had a spare part from that previous repair. 😁
Expensive though.

My thoughts exactly! Thanks Addam you have a great weekend too! 👍
Ours has taller narrower crawler wheels and tires on it. I want to return it to monster truck tires and wheels
It's nice this van with the monster tires lets hope it don't break down again! 😁
It sucks that Kyosho doesn’t have the part support like Tamiya or Traxxas or arrma
Yep that's for sure!! Thanks for watching.
Hopefully they just had a bad batch of plastic parts and the new ones are better
I hope so brother! Thanks for looking.
I always hated those clips
Yeah you think by now they would use something else?
Now order more spare parts.
😁👍👍
