Yesss, I did it! I was up against an aggro druid and turn 6 I managed to get the ultrasaur out with a double invernerate! Then, I took advantage of the fact that nobody would ever attack an ultrasaur by using two earthen scales on it the next turn to get some armor back and played a tar creeper, and had just enough defenses to not die, while the ultrasaur slowly took over the board for me! I even managed to copy it with a menagerie warden on my last turn. Ultrasaur op! Only took me... about 2 months for it to work!
Ok, this is esoteric as hell, but that banana in the tar pit reminds me of the Playstation 1 game Vandal Hearts. There was a level where you could inspect a poisonous swamp tile and get a banana and trade it to an NPC for a key. If you found the key in each of the 6 chapters you'd unlock an upgrade for your main character that basically made them into a god.
I had a game yesterday where I was probably going to lose until I played a Giant Mastodon that wasn't removed. Then I played an Ancestral Spirit, Faceless Manipulator and Flametongue Totem. Fun times.
Yea but people dont have to trade up to 4 minions into it, I already know the card youre talking about and its not as big as a threat and soggoth is much more satisfying when your opponent pulls it out with a dirty rat or deathlord
I find Mastodon to be a much worse version of Creeper to be honest. The thing Creeper had going for it was that you could (usually) still hero power with it. You'd be amazed how often that makes a difference.

Hey man, love your vids. Could you do a rant video on Rogue's quest reward card crystal core? I hate this card so much. I don't spend much money on this game and everyone i met online is using all these new quests cards and this is by far the worst.
Bog creeper is just so much better, mastodon only gains 2 stats for 2 mana, I think it should be 6/12 or 6/14 to truely justify the mana cost, cause lower cost minions get better stats per mana already and if your opponent has sap or death, deadly shot etc. you just get so wrecked instantly.
