I think what they mean is being Ms Chalice and rolling on the middle platform when the red soundwaves come, and the roundabout being used is for damage to the lightbug behind the player. And yes, even though this is about upgrading the cursed relic to the Devine relic, this was actually useful information for new Isle 4 players.

Saltbaker and the devil are worth 4. You need something like 12 points to upgrade it fully, so you get beat the Devil, Saltbaker, and one other idle 4 boss and two of any other boss and upgrade it.
Here's a helpful tip, if you are stuck on one of these bosses, keep on clicking f untill you roll crackshot. When you have crackshot use the ex to get free hearts
