We saw this band live in the Hunter Valley early 2020 and it was the first time we had heard them and we were blown away. Absolutely brilliant. Just saw the film clip for this song on Rage just minutes ago. Awesome song unbelievable clip.
I don't understand how they have not hit the top yet. With songs like these, I thought they must belong to the top tier. Hope you get some truly glory days ahead.
You guys are geniuses, your layering of instruments and vocals is out of this world . . I missed your tour before covid came along and I am beating myself because of it, hopefully I will get to see you again when all this fiasco is over.
I am OBSESSED with this song. Played at a bar I was at recently and HAD to Shazam it. Have showed it to all my mates and got them obsessed too!! Keep up with the great music and I will be seeing you in Perth in November!! ❤️❤️
I just found out you guys 'quietly disbanded'...2 years ago! Wow! That's so disheartening. I'm in Canada, and I've been telling my friends about your group since I saw the video for 'Landmine' in 2020. Not that it matters now, but I thought your group was a breath of fresh air. Anyway, all the best to the members in your future endeavors! You're a talented bunch of people. I'm sure you'll all do well, whatever projects you get involved in. Cheers!
Checking in from Ardmore,PA...thanks again U of Penn WXPN for turning me on to another great band! Last night knew none of their songs, now my internal algorithm has led me to three.
Wow! Finally. Racking my brain trying to find out who this was, after hearing it on the House party playlist. Great vibe. So late 70's, with the mix of keyboards and guitar solos and of course the la la la's.
Proof that you don't need a big budget to create a great video. Great job, guys! And as always... great song! Looking forward to more new music from you.
Wtff I've always in my head been thinking of how much some of their songs remind me of electric light orchestra and tame impala, seeing your comment was trippy
Such a grow on - it's got all the right ingredients - In fact, too many influences to mention, don't wanna offend anybody by leaving anyone out! Could be a modern day pop (nothing wrong with pop if done well) classic, Love. Give me more!
Friggin Love IT! I thought someone found some previously unheard old Lennon recordings and did something new and awesome with them. Very cool. There is hope for new music and cool melodies.
Oh, I can't even look at you Without the burn that turns my insides black and blue Wait, tell me that it isn't true You were just running out of better things to do, oh-oh Didn't you know? La-la-la-la-la-la-love is a landmine Didn't you know? La-la-la-la-la-la-love is a landmine Didn't you know? Oh La-la-la-la-la-la-love is a landmine Oh, the shells of everything we knew Litter the wasteland at the end of me and you Hey, you better pray it isn't true That there is a landmine out there waiting just for you, oh-oh Didn't you know? I heard this at work and thought the same thing, went home and looked up Julian's songs, with no luck, but it drove me crazy trying to find this song, it's so good! Couldn't hear the lyrics clearly either, so finally Shazammed it and bingo! Love this song. It has so many layers to it, not just the Julian/John aspect, but also Bowie, Roxy Music, The Sweet, Elo and the list continues. It's very much their own though, so full credit to the band
Absolutely dripping with 1970s and early 80s hooks, and that bassline in the chorus is to die for! Not since Midnight Juggernauts' "Cannibal Freeway" has retro pop sounded this lush. 5 stars.
One of Australia's most underrated bands
Just saw them live. Sounds this good. Absolutely killer. Make them famous. Do it now.
As a 'child' of the 70's, this is a throwback to all that I grew up with and loved. Great track, guys and gals !
Alan Parsons Project - Eye in the Sky comes first to mind.
It's soo expertly executed that I honestly thought it was a cover.
Makes me think of early Split Enz
Has a real ELO feel to it.
Saw this on Rage yesterday... never heard of this band before... BUT this is the 4th time I’ve returned to this video ... Love the retro vibe.
Watching it on Raaaaaaaaaaaggge now. Along with ONJ....😟
Go and listen to some electric light orchestra you'll love em
Feeling Bowie. Classic.
100%

This is the best fucking thing that I've heard in a while. It's been on repeat for a while now. ❤️❤️❤️
I don't understand how they have not hit the top yet. With songs like these, I thought they must belong to the top tier. Hope you get some truly glory days ahead.
ELO Queen etc etc , but still with an original twist, love this
...yes with an early Beatles vibe also !
definite ELO vibe
For sure but there's a bit of T*REX there for sure during their softer glam moments. Love it all the same.
@@Geneva8181 casi toda la música moderna pop esta basada en Beatles, for ever and ever!!!!
Best fucking modern song I've heard in ages. Hall & Oates sound to it. Strings, piano, drums, harmonies....brilliant!!!!!!
Reminds me of ELO but know what u mean
Lenny Sims
I know EXACTLY what you mean. God love ElO. Saw em live in Brisbane, Oz
Guys this is genius, you're all geniuses, continue making genius-ness

This song has been haunting me for the last few weeks. Finally I know its name

La-la-la-la-la-la-love is a landmine
Mad song.

I'm hearing Julian and/or John Lennon here and I am liking it 👍

Listen to “Everything Goes With You’ by this band - it’s VERY Julian Lennon
You're right! I heard it at your suggestion and it is even more "Lennonesque" than this track 👍🏻
Bowie? 70's sound, an instant classic!
Sounds nothing like bowie
Excellent song and video. Very Beatles-influenced sound yet so "new" sounding as well. Insanely catchy :)
Reminds me of ELO
