Beautiful refresh, Nikki! This is your new fan and follower Vicki. My refresh will be a first quarter plan for the Spring. Having been unemployed for 22 long months, I have just accepted a job and start Jan 10 ~ hallelujah, thank you Lord!!!!! So with everything in storage and having to stay with family until I secure a new place, I'll be pouring over design ideas and head into this next chapter with a home refresh of my own. So timely! I just started doing some refresh yesterday! I managed to find some great buys at Kirkland’s! Picked up several new wall prints, and a eucalyptus scented candle! One of the prints I thought looked too farmhouse style for me so I actually added color with acrylics and loves the result! It’s okay to modify pieces that you purchase to really make it your own!! Next up: taking down the tree. Is it wrong that I’m over it? 🤷♀️
I bought two canvas prints yesterday myself that I had to paint and tweak. It now goes well with my bathroom.

Nikki I just discovered you on Google today & I am excited to see how you have decorated your home. I love decorating & never thought of going to Hobbie Lobby. People tell me after coming in my home that I should take up decorating. I'm going to Hobby Lobby this week for sure. I love your taste in deco. Just keep it coming because you have really inspired me!!
Great choices. The Spring will be the time to do most of the work needed to be done before we can live on our property. The sewer lines cannot be dug until then. Our house won't be plain. I plan to paint the walls in my bedroom a diamond pattern of dark blue and either light or olive green. I plan to replace all the furniture and paint it dark brown. Lee doesn't like dark colors. I hope to replace the ugly green carpet and the ugly green bathroom vanity top. Both are dark green. I only like light to olive green. I plan to add a mural or art to the wall the kitchen sink faces. I plan to add a bidet with a feminine wash feature and replace the showerhead with a larger one as I don't think the small one will rinse my thick hair efficiently. The dishes will be a marble pattern of blue and tan. I found beautiful blue striped kitchen utensils. Also blue cookware and bakeware. Dark blue and dark brown have always been my favorite colors. I only like all shades of blue and brown but only certain shades of all other colors. Light to olive green reminds me of our deceased younger son Thomas's eye color. It was a light moss color like Lee's but a twinge brighter. He looked exactly like Lee in every other way. We also want to add a wood/coal outdoor heater that will work through our ductwork. All of our vehicles were stolen. We likely need another truck that fits all three of us. Our older autistic son Daniel is a teenager now so we'll need full-size seats. Dad's (Lee's) truck seats 4 but now the back seats will only fit me since I have proportionally short legs. Lee wants it to have a 4-wheel drive. First, I need to get a job which is proving difficult as I haven't even gotten an interview though I applied in late August. Only Lee can handle Daniel now that he's a teenager so I have to be the one to earn an income. Currently, neither of us has an income.

I just started refreshing and cleaning out my master suite. I reorganized my closet, got rid of some things I no longer needed. Now I'm working on my bedroom and bath section. It's probably going to take me a week to get everything done, but it's worth it. It's kind of cathartic also.
Constantly disappointed that Hobby Lobby isn't in Canada and will not ship here.
But I did go out and purchase 3 large plastic bins to organize the Christmas decorations when they come down.

I'm going to remodel or makeover, what ever you want to call it.
Every room is going to be painted, then I'll be replacing every light fixture, in the kitchen I'll be replacing the kitchen sink ( mine is white plastic ,) then add baseboards in ever room, then decorate each room.
I'll be replacing the all the drapes, bedding, rug's shower curtain. So 2020 my home is getting a makeover. !!
I have a stupid builders grave mirror, it's just plain, very big, but I'd like to figure out a way to make it look nicer , have any ideas ?
