Humans are prone to make mistake... so it's an error from the author... there is no way you can solve dat problem without having the value for BC... Best option is to inform ur lecturer of the error or u improvise by using d same I used in this video... Actually I first came about this problem in WAEC past question b4 seeing it in pickup and parker
please i have issues with how you numbered your clockwise and anti clockwise. at times the positions of c and d will not be definite like the question you solved. please kindly explain the standard way of numbering the clockwise and anticlockwise rotation. because if the numbering is wrong you get a different loci
...the numbering of both Cranks are inline with what's required in the question, I number them starting from their origin as shown in d question, then following the direction as instructed in the question. You do that, I don't see a way of u encountering any problem.
