yeah I use a bike box from Thule, or you can rent a bike box alan. Just check it in like a suitcase

How much of a faff is it getting your bike abroad? Cant decide between renting one where im going or buying a bike box

not too bad once you get used to it. Packing the bike etc and dropping it at the airport is sound, taxis are a big faff tho with the bike box. Renting is probably more expensive in the long run though

Just make sure you get a high quality bike box, then it’s really easy and cheaper than renting. Best bike box is BikeBoxAlan.
