I always wondered how they cooked the vegetables and it still stays crunchy. So they blanch it and pour the sauce on it. Thanks for the behind the scenes look. I really do enjoy chinese style mixed rice.
as a malay that like chinses food.. it loook so good that i want to learn how to cook it.. because it so hard to find a cheep Muslim chines food.. because all place that i visit the food become extra price form normally sell at chinses shop.

Over 10 years ago old subang S15 wet market famous for chap fan. Now there’s this! Go to place for college students. Back then under RM10 for a meal and drink. Wow this much newer place still can offer so cheap!

Mixed vegetables rice is selection of different type of vegetables and even long beans . This is called " Chap Choi fan " Wonder Fool !
Just like any malay stalls selling cheap nasi campur dishes. Only 2 cooks who prep and cooks all the 40-50 dishes. Fast n furious in the kitchen. The rule is all ingredients are available if not will be modified
