Lets talk about the case when britons revoked the proposed by Scots pro LGBT+ law that although would be in power only within Scotland but britons decided to hold their pro colonial policy in Scotland.

what are the civil rights now that abortion has been removed in the US in most states. Would you talk about the right notbeing protected anymore and link to federalism as in some states still protect the right and others abolish the Roe V Wade act?

It’s state interpreted so is an example of ineffective civil rights protection

@olivertankenginepreston3291 So, civil rights in the United States are protected both constitutionally and legislatively (i.e. the Bill of Rights in the Constitution which are the first 10 amendments, and pieces of legislation such as the Civil Rights Act 1964). There are also civil rights protected in state constitutions.
Roe v Wade was not a piece of legislation but a Supreme Court decision in the 1970s which was based on the Due Process clause of the 14th amendment of the Constitution (basically an extension of the right to privacy in terms of pregnancy termination).
This was overturned as that argument was determined to be insufficient to warrant constitutional protection of privacy in terms of pregnancy termination. This means that the restriction or protection of that is up to the States (as the 10th amendment delegates all powers not enumerated to the federal government in the US to the states).
