Hair dresser here!! You do not need 30 on your ends, they’re basically blonde. When you do 30 every time you’re lifting and depositing and that can cause it fading more on those ends. You only need a 10 on the ends :)
I think for the ends where you find it harder for the dye to grab, you could try a neutral protein filler to get the porosity right again to the point where it’ll take the dye much better.
Came here to say this! A good protein filler/porosity equalizer would help with the extra porous parts of your lengths that aren’t grabbing/holding onto the color 👍🏻😍
Ik this is old but another good option is put the dye on the ends to “fill the ends” and then slap semipermanent and direct dye colors on top of it, it should act like a glue keeping the color in when the ends are so blown opem
I’m so glad you went for a lighter, brighter copper. I think this more gingery colour suits you better than fire Ruby or those other really red red colours. I currently have a similar shade that I mixed - an 8.44 plus a 9.3 and I love it. I even don’t mind the lighter ends

I love this color! 9-7 it’s pretty too! 😍 I think the 7-77 it’s too dark for my taste. I would suggest 30 vol on your roots and on your middle and ends just 10 vol 🤭 it’s less aggressive 😁

Hi Ladee, I just dyed my hair 8.77 yesterday. I have been dying my hair 8.77 for months. So I am using igora's %20 vol ox. But it is getting more reddish hue rather than orangey copper now. It is OK after a few wash it will fade into copper. Yet I wonder, should I use ox. 30 instead? For a natural copper look?

Just curious, how do you use demi permanent to touch up roots? Being nervous about how to keep up roots is one of the main things stopping me from dying again lol
Hello! Great question! Demi and semi permanent dyes don’t do anything for my roots. So I usually dye with a permanent dye when my roots need work and then will boost my color with a semi permanent until my roots have grown out so much I don’t care for them. I hope that makes sense. Let me know if it doesn’t!

I've watched your videos from 2yrs ago up to this one here....you constantly complain about missing some of your hair....my one and only question is....why do you not section out your hair? It would totally help you to saturate ALL of your hair...1000%...1,000,000%

Use 20 developer on your ends to just deposit color. Using 30 developer lifts 2 or 3 levels and what u need to do is deposit color only on your ends.

Hello!! This is more of a lighter copper color than Red Penny, which deposited more red dye. This lifted my hair color more too. Both are gorgeous!
