- Parents are frustrated over campus violence after a student was stabbed while standing up to a bully at a San Bernardino County middle school. The victim, an eighth grader, was hospitalized after being stabbed by another student at Frisbie Middle School in Rialto.
The boy was reportedly protecting another student from a bully when the violent attack unfolded. His mother said the stabbing is just one example of the bullying issues that have plagued the school for years.

The mother needs to press charges against the child who stabbed her son. She should obtain a lawyer to press charges against the school district as well. That boy who did the stabbing should be locked up in Juvenile Hall in West Valley period!
Hold the parents accountable for their child's actions. Violence starts at home.

“Disciplined?” That aggressor should be arrested. As a former school administrator, I would have called the police and had him arrested. No wonder parents in the community are upset.

@@vanessaramos3318 when I was in highschool early 2000s I stopped a friend of mine from stabbing another friend of mine after he pulled a knife in a heated argument he went to juvenile hall for a year and a half or two years and some other kids were stabbed on separate occasions it's not new at all

I believe it is the fault of the parents AND the administrators. They will ignore this behavior and it emboldens them.
Best believe this isn’t the first time an adult staff member has witnessed something off with this kid in particular.
Please do all you can to homeschool your kids because you have no idea who your child is sitting next to. If I was this woman, I’d sue the school for medical expenses.

That's my middle school. This was never a concern back in the 90s. You had beef, you squared up, you either won or got your butt whoop and then you became friends. You live to enjoy your childhood. Miss those times.

Exactly why I homeschool my kid. The kids are at school to be baby sat for 6 or 7 hours they are learning how to go to parties, fight, disrespect the staff, dress provocative, and alot of other horrible things. My kid is a 10th grader and doing 11th grade work and online college courses now through homeschooling. Wake up parents check on your kids! School is a prison yard.

You do. Homeschool through a charter school and you can. They provide funds for online classes with actual teachers and it is free for you. Look around your area. Sage oak is great and they have live instruction.

At LAUSD, we have Restorative Justice. Challenging Behavior from students are addressed by students answering these questions: What Happened? What were you thinking at the time of the incident? What have you thought about since? Who was affected by what happened and how? What about this has been hardest for you? What do you think needs to be done to make things as right as possible? After these questions are answered justice is restored; come back to class.
