Good to see the mold line remover I gave you is getting good use lololololol
Noice one! Happy Easter!! 🤩🍗🍫🥧🍻 & "Cheers!!" To Ratman & everybody 😄✌️
I would also recommend if you are just starting out pick up a couple of Nail files ( yes the ones your mum/ partner uses to do her nails) just the cheap throw away ones great for smoothing stuff and things....
I have somehow managed to get nearly 3 decades into this hobby without using anything other than the back of a knife for removing mould lines, I really should try it at some point :D . you can get hobby files for really cheap, or a pack of nail files like you suggest (And men can take care of their nails too :P ) There's a lot of options for cleaning up model kit parts, whatever works for each person is the best tool for them!
Really good content
I love this: we here in Britain call a thing _______, therefore the proper name for it is _______.
MLRs exist because some folk are too young to buy (or use) modelling knives
Sanding sponges/sticks, Concave scalpel blades and good quality files are your friends for taking mold lines off of detailed curved surfaces. Id also reccomend gluing on the arms and any pieces that tend to not have the best contact points for adhesion like kitbags and rifles with a cocktail stick/needle and small dab of spru goo.. you find using all these things together with the tools you already have will produce much cleaner looking models in the same or even less time with experience using them. Spru goo also fills the nasty gaps alot of warlord kits have between the arms and body requring only a light bit of work afterworks with blade and sanding to sort any mess.
