Thanks so much for this video. I was wondering how to do the corners. It might seem obvious to some but thanks for showing how to bend the metal edges.

I’m glad your supervisor Barry approves of your work. It’s very important because he looks like he doesn’t tolerate shoddy work! 😉😆. He is such a cutie
Great advice.. I like your channel. Maybe you can suggest type of edging. We have a flood irritated citrus property in Mesa Arizona. The area I would like to start with is on a 12" inch burm. I would like to back fill from the grass level for plant bed. I like the metal. Do they manufacture 12" inch tall edging? Any suggestions? I browsed your garden Video's. Quite delightful. 😊
Thank you I have been looking into this. Does this eliminate the need for a string trimmer & is the lawn mower wheel against the edge or riding on the edge, and would you mow it the same with the plastic edging?
Hi Ethan. Pretty much yes it does. You can mow much closer and because the grass doesn’t ‘creep’ into the border it’s much easier to keep a clean edge. 🥷🌿🤘
@@Gardenninja I had some vigoro "no dig" plastic edging in my shed that I tested on border after I wrote to you. That stuff is way too flimsy and didn't give the support that your example did.
I knew I'd spotted this on your Instagram page 😊 I don't suppose you have a link for where you got it please 🙏 you've inspired us to get some (the no need to strim won us over!). There are so many out there a recommended one would be much appreciated, thanks!
🤣🤣🤣 When you got as much as I do in every which way your automatic habits kick in! You get the drift though it’s super easy to bend for any corner whether you’re the right or wrong side!! 🤘🥷
@Gardenninja my man, I run and landscaping company in Australia, and literally did a boarder yesterday for some river pebbles, and I was going to cut it when it hit the wall, but just bent it, so you saved me some time for real. The easiest mistakes are the ones that happen the most, hahahaha cheers bud
Wheres all your mole mounds lol. My garden is covered yet again. Think its just been mating season and they are back. Just after i went out with lawn seed haaaa. Gota stay positive i guess. But i will be getting some boarder edges fitted.
Moles can be an absolute pain. And hard to ethically remove. This year I’ve been lucky. Last year not so much but some garlic and perseverance paid off. Happy border edging!! 🥷🌿🤘
@@Gardenninja haaa. Im growing garlic. That hasnt made them go away. It all started last year. Ive caught 3 so far this year. Need my garden back. Luckiky they havent gone into my boarders. But my lawn they have destroyed and got my third one today under the trampoline. It will soon be over. Maybe. Hopefully. Lol.
@@Gardenninja indeed. Just been out and planted my first ever rose i grew from a cutting. Now that im super happy with. Got a few more on the go but not ready yet. Planted on bare root last month.
Looks great. I could do with fitting some edging. It all looks so neat. Mum🤗🥰
Thanks Mum! Super easy to fit and flip together too!! 🥷🌿🤘
Thank you Lee, I've been considering some edging for the lawn, so you have given me further food for thought.
Thanks Terry. It’s really worth the effort for reduced maintenance! 🥷🌿🤘
A great video Lee, bet you were glad you had Barry's help, love the rock&roll crocs,i have the same pair!
Hahaha I was hoping no one noticed my camo crocs fashion fail. So comfy for ‘nipping out’ gardening. Ie 3 hours later!!! 🥷🌿🐝🐶
@@Gardenninja definitely comfy👌great for gardening, you might have just started a craze!

Looks great . Can you tell me the name of the metal edging please or provide a link ? Thank you
It’s ok lee I’m sure no one notice you bend the corner the wrong way 🤫
Hahahha I commented the same thing he went to sit it in and then was like cut scene
Sharp. Good job Lee.

The edging comes in various depths, the ones I'm looking at are 65mm, 100mm and 150mm, what would you recommend? Thank you!
I’d go for 100 for a nice snug fit. For tree rings 65mm is fine but edging go for 100. Also means if you know it it won’t pop out!! 🤣🌿👌

@@Gardenninja thanks so much 😃 can't wait to hear about Norway!
Can I put this down before i put down or grow new grass? Like againt a pre existing pathway side and use it as a guideline too?
Hi Kaitlyn yes you can put this down before laying lawn. In fact it’s an extent way to mark out your borders! 🥷🌿🤘 Happy gardening. Lee
That’s great to hear! And so useful haha thank you so much for replying ❤️
