Honestly, the animation quality doesn’t matter much here. What stands out is the creativity and care put into it, which is what makes it wonderful!
I loved the rowlett and eevee segments the most, but I also adored seeing all of the characters!

The bad: I wish there had been more variety with the pokemon, I felt like there were way too many initials and legendaries.
The good: there are many great ideas here! I loved the Fork Lifter, Working Dough, Screwbots... Also the drawings in general were pretty well done, and the easter eggs were pretty cool (i love rockruff as the Barista!)
All in all, really good work!

To all the people saying the animation is “Lazy” or “Bad”
I’d like to see you do better. Comparing this to the Smash Bros. one by Smash bits is a good thing because that one looks MUCH nicer....but it was also worked on by multiple people for 3 freaking months. I love this one, I think it’s cute and does a lot of stuff right. I get there’s criticism, but then there’s just being mean
I’m sorry, but that’s like going to a restaurant, getting something that you thought would be good and it ended up being trash, then writing a review and receiving a reply of “Well I’d like to see you cook better.”. It’s a stupid way of arguing, and honestly very childish.

Most movie critics have probably never directed a movie, and yet they are still allowed to show their opinion on it and give criticism, as well as anyone else who watches said movie. My point is that it doesn’t matter if you have the time inputed as anyone can be a critic of anything. When something shows as being bad, people are going to call it bad and give reasoning why. It’s the internet and also is how it is in the real world.

Amazing!! I don’t decide for my favorite part. Cheerleaders with all pokegirls was great. Meltan screwbot was perfect too, maybe the launch party part or karate man... actually every scene was amazing!!

Fexa the Houndour But the actual game’s animation is MUCH better looking than this, IMAGE EDITOR stuff you see in this video. It looks like a terrible kids app about making one frame at a time and having 11 year old make it.
@James Epperly Keep in mind, as I said, there was a company behind the actual game. And as stated in the pinned comment, the maker of this video isn’t an animator. This was just a fun project of his, which shouldn’t actually be compared to the official game (that’s also a mistake I made).
This is great, whilst the animation is choppy (still pretty good, better than I can do) the creativity in the changes are great, my favourite part is 2:50
