Spectacular performance! Gabriel didn't want to sing this song in the AGT semifinals. He tried for two weeks to convince the production team to change the song. At first he wanted to sing I want to know what love is and then he tried Stand Up but AGT production didn't allow either of them. Unfortunately, he did not qualify for the final. It was a great injustice.

Gabriel is a Brazilian evangelical singer. He is self-taught. His biggest inspiration in music is Whitney Houston. And then Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. He has been making videos on TH-cam for around 6 years.

You need to go to his TH-cam site and see how many songs he has covered and react to some of those or all of them over time. He is a phenomenal singer. He doesn't speak English so he listens to the songs over and over until he can sing them in English.

@@carola_sillva I heard that he had recently started taking lessons learning English. I was hoping it was true because I think it will help him become even more successful internationally. He needs to be seen and heard by everybody everywhere. He is such an amazing singer and I think his language barrier holds him back a little.
