- Hello, Welcome back to Stitch by cara! Heres a tutorial of how to make a crochet sunflower keychain. You can use the keychain for anything you want
Materials:
•4ply cotton yarn
• 2.5 crochet hook
• keychain
• fluff ( optional )

Center
With brown make 2
Row 1-ch 2, 5 sc in 2nd stitch, join ch1(5)
Row 2-increase around, join ch1(10)
Row 3-(sc, increase)around join ch1(15)
Row 4-(sc 2, increase) around, join finish off
Petals with yellow
Join w/slst through both pieces
(Ch2, DC, TR, yo 3 pull through 2 loops at a time, ch 2 slst in top of stitch, TR, DC,slst)all in same stitch
Sc in next stitch
Repeat around
finish off
The abbreviations I used are slst-slip stitch
ch-chain
DC-double crochet
SC-single crochet
TR-triple crochet

As a beginner who just made her first mini ball today, I picked sunflower amigurumi (WEBSITE pattern, no pictures, because it looked the cutest and my ego was clearly inflated) thinking it’d be a beginner friendly project just a step up from the ball and now it’s 12AM I am 🫠💀🙃
Video is helpful though, I might just ignore that website and try to do all of this 😂 thanks!

Is it just me or do stitches not add up to amount stated I'm confused & ripped out several times know .

Figured out the notation from a similar video. Where it says inc means increase by doing 2 sc into same stitch.
Row 2; do 1 sc in 1st stitch, then 2 sc into next stitch, then 1sc into next, 2sc again & so on.
Row 3; 1sc into 1st stitch, then 1sc into next stitch, increase with 2sc into the following stitch, repeat.
same,i do all the increase but i Always have les stitches than the video
I’ve figured it out! I know it’s a bit late so you might not care but I figured I’d say it for anyone else who gets confused.
Round 2 should be all increases, making the total 10
Round 3 should be 1SC and 1 inc. Making the total 15
Round 4 should be 2SC and 1inc making the total 20.
