I think we all have to be realistic. If this were 40 dollars, it would be a deluxe. And we see that deluxes usually don’t have this much new sculpt and accessories. We should expect upwards of 50 dollars for this
@@azure4277 well collectors just need to be honest with themselves. How long have collectors said they wanted new sculpts better articulation and more accessories? It seems to me collectors want mafex quality. It at Ollie’s pricing. Then hasbro will say “okay, $25 reused sculpts it is then” and collectors will complain about that too. That says way more about the collector than hasbro
Deluxe is almost always about the amount of plastic (see Phoenix, Ghost Rider, Odin, Brave New World wave). If this is any more than $35, then you're trying to justify an extra $20 (the price of an entire Legends figure a few years ago) for two extra sets of hands, an extra head, and an extra web effect or two. That is not worth $20, but Hasbro has successfully trained everyone to expect the worst so we can swallow their greed driven profit margins. And now Hasbro basically has free employees on the Internet trying to prepare consumers for the blow, all so they can say "Called it."
I would love a maximum daredevil with interchangeable forearms so you can have him with wraps and maybe interchangeable boots so you can have tall red combat boots like the 12 inch version years ago with a beaten up bleeding face and a regular matt Murdock face.
Also,Storm just announced a $25 Baki Hanna that everyone is talking about. It’s another example of new sculpt, innovative articulation, and good paint. It doesn’t have as many accessories by any means, but it’s $25. Jada has changed the game. They’re appealing to kids and adults. You think kids will be able to convince their parents to get them the Spider-Man if it’s $40+?
Good point. Although this one won’t show up and target and Walmart so it seems like they dont expect any kids to be buying at all. I’ll have to look up the Baki Hanna I haven’t seen it yet.
@@thestrongcollectors I think Dan said it will show up at fan channels, meaning Amazon, pulse, GameStop, EE, BBTS, etc. Yea def look up the Baki. I think it’s under Storms new Storm Arena line. Pre ordered it for $25 at BBTS.
@@thestrongcollectors I'm hoping not but you're probably right. I think Ultron and Cable are my top 2 that I want from Maximum after long consideration.
$30-$35 is my limit. The new body will be back and these extra accessories are cool, but not enough to make me go higher than 35. Would like to see a classic 2099 on this new body. Thanks for the video!
@ I’d take that too! I do like the standing silhouette of this new figure over a lot of the recent ML new bodies. More of a dorito torso and less love handles haha
I'm say $40-$45 , the commenter below says three different people have told him $72, no way that happens. At $72 it will sit, dragon man is $80, Hulkbuster was $60. Having a Maximum Spider-Man at $72 is absolutely nuts
@ I like the beefy look on the legends hulks more, but I feel like DST’s $30 compared to Hasbro’s $40 is a worthy trade off. I also think that DST nailed Red Hulk. I don’t like the regular Hulk headsculpt, because it’s just an emotionless stare with an open mouth, but I like the Red Hulk headsculpt a lot. I think that evil grin is more fitting for his character than the semi-angry head that the legends one had.
@@thestrongcollectorsthe problem is that this new Max body is bigger than the RYV mold, which DD is on. It’s base size it the same as the RYV, except this Spidey now has a longer neck due to the neck joint, and broader shoulders. My worry is that it will be too big for Peter’s average height, while looking bulkier/better proportioned than Moon Knight, Iron Fist, etc.
This week we’ll have 1 more strong collectors episode, a livestream, a strong collector comics episode, and a channel member episode. We’ve got you covered.
It’s pretty easy to guess who would be first to get maximum treatment. Cap, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, Dr. Strange, the Thing & one of the X-Men I just wouldn’t know which iteration of the uniforms they would choose to be as the maximum. I’d like to see 4-6 figures a year from maximum. No more than that.
I'm willing to spend $50 on this figure. That's usually how much a Spider-Man figure will run you on the secondary market, and this beats the sun-fire body mold that we keep getting.
Great vid, I like this kind of speculation topics. I can see all your options, specially a brand new classic Thor (with Frog Thor, brilliant!) is necessary. Here my two options: - Cyclops (classic blue and yellow) with 4 blaster effect and 3 heads (estoic, agressive, with glasses) - Daredevil (red classic). Sticks with and without tie, cane, 4 pair of hands, 3 heads Cheers 🎉
It's the Spider-man we've wanted in the Legends line so most will pay the price point they give us, At the same time if they push the price point on new lines it could affect things going forward. My best guess is 45 which is around the price of some deluxe figures. Now that they have given us the Retro, Amazing Fantasy, and now the McFarlane style definitive is not the word of the day anymore. Lol How about Maxium variants with the black costume Spider-man? Moving forward in Legends would be finishing teams as they continue their train of thought in upcoming figures. My thoughts on an Iceman are going off Crystar.
40 or an easy pass. If the line cost near as much as a 2-pack or more. The line will be DOA. Definitely has potential but wish better accessories could’ve been offered to compete with imports. Especially when they’re going towards the more budget friendly route.
@@thestrongcollectors YAAAS I was thinking the same thing! I’d trade in that fugly Peter head for a half masked battle damaged one or other battle damaged parts. I know this has been done but give me magnets in them hands and feet. This will be the “definitive” ML McFarlane SM. The Peter head doesn’t even go with the McFarlane style Spider. Mafex set the bar pretty high that it’s still yet to be dethroned. Depending on the price I would expect 90% QC issues to be resolved. The web lines better be immaculate since it’s now sculpted and eye lenses should be closer together. They are waaay too far apart. Last ditch effort incase Hasbro loses the line, I guess.
I'd love to see more of these Maximum series wish lists. Even though this series is for characters who bring out the big bucks, id like to see both of your underrated or more obscure characters picks just for fun.
I know it's an outside shot but a super poseable, comic style purple outfit Hawkeye would rock. Plenty of accessory options with effects for various arrows.
Maximum Magneto also has to have his magnetic field. Perhaps 4-6 curved pieces on a hinge to represent edges of the sphere, and then modular electrical charge shapes that can plug into various ports on the curved shapes. The modularity brings variety, and reuse for other later figures. The hinge will allow users to expand the curved pieces to be a full circle/sphere or portion of sphere, depending on how displayed. Marvel expands sales of Maximum figs when they tap into MvC2 characters & effects. So they could/should also include accessories that mimick moves and/or poses, e.g. glowing energy blade for fist.
I regretted not getting 3 pack daredevil, so a maximum daredevil would be perfect. 35-40 pricepoint for this line would be smart. Arguably, everything here should be invluded for the 25 pricepoint anyways 😅
@@thestrongcollectors the funny thing though is if you compare this to the deluxe black widow, it's really not that much more plastic. Black widow was 30, so if this is more than 35 then they're trying to fool us with the bigger packaging and MAXIMUM branding and unfortunately many will fall for it.
I honestly am excited for the hulk I’m hoping for a improved body, double jointed, arms, butterfly joints, and more articulation now for the version that I’m hoping they pick there’s actually a couple of them that would be cool to see like Professor Hulk, World breaker Hulk and Titan Hulk feel like those would be cool
@@thestrongcollectors TARIFFS! TARIFFS! TARIFFS! Hasbro has almost assuredly added the extra cost into this product in anticipation of Don The Con implementing his boneheaded tariff (consumer tax) scheme. I suspect that this is why they have not yet revealed the price point for this item. I also expect them to announce in the next coming weeks that ALL of their products will see an increased cost due to tariffs. Now I don't blame Hasbro. They are a greedy, multi -billion- dollar company, and they are gonna do what they are gonna do, which is make as much profit as possible. That would be like blaming a cobra for biting a rat. It's what they do.
I think all Maximum series would be price at $50 or 60. Because there too many accessories to choose from and the articulation is better than your average Marvel legends figures. However it still depend on shipping and delivery costs because that Maximum series is seriously gonna be so overpriced and gonna empty my wallet this year.
I personally think Marvel Legends are way better than neca but neca also doesn't make much for me so that's easy for me to say when im not really collecting them.
I’m an MCU Marvel Legends collector, but this would get me back into collecting comic book figures. There are a lot of characters they could do in this maximum series. I believe this is Hasbro’s way of giving us the things we’ve been asking for, but justifying them at a higher price. I have no doubt this series would be reserved for classic characters (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Wolverine, Hulk, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, The Fantastic Four, X-Men, etc.) and that is perfect!!! I’d even like to see maximum versions of classic female characters from this series (Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, Wasp, Scarlet Witch, etc.), but that’s just me getting greedy. LOL. Great video, as always!!!👍🏾
I think the big question here is...when they get to their first character with a cape, will they go with a cloth and wired cape? Another big question is will they delve into villains? I'm hoping so. So I think there are no-brainer answers to what should get made. I also think there's no brainer answers to what will get made...even if it doesn't really need updated. For starters, broken down, who could use an update or what character deserves another go? If the criteria are only core main characters in their most iconic looks, well, that narrows it down quite a bit. Daredevil IMMEDIATELY comes to mind. Three heads: standard neutral head, shouting head, unmasked head (with removable glasses) with lowered mask shoulder piece. Multiple hands. Billy Club w/ removable bendy wire cord. Cane. Radar Effect. I'd say classic Thor with a cloth-wired cape. I'd say take the new Punisher, give him the white gloves and boots, three NEW heads, and load it up with an arsenal of weapons and firing effects. I'd say Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic, and loaded to the TEETH with swappable stretched parts. I'm talking stretched arms, legs, torso, neck, and ball form, spring form; the list goes on. I feel like Cap could be taken to the next level. I don't feel he's the most in need, but I could see him improved, especially with butterfly joints and shield throw and bounce effects. I'd say classic Strange with a cloth cloak. For those roles that I don't really think need updated, I'd argue that classic Hulk, Wolverine, and Iron Man just don't need it that badly, but we know Hulk is coming, and you just know Iron Man and Wolverine will.
The two figures that I would love to see get the MAXIMUM treatment are Hulk (already rumored to be in the pipeline) and Thor. Hasbro could get away with re-releasing both his standard hammer and the spinning effect version, but he must absolutely come with multiple photo-real head sculpts, multiple hands, epic lightning effects, and most importantly, a WIRED cape for maximum poseability!!!! The rest of your suggestions I'm down for as well. TAKE MY MONEY, HASBRO!!!!
Although the price mystery is definitely cause for concern, can I just say that I really expect Wolverine to be the next Maximum figure revealed? And I'm intrigued to see what they do with it.
My thinking is $50. But I also feel since this is subject to the Spider Tax, future Max releases will have better accessory loadouts. So not the best opening salvo for this program, but Spidey sells so I think this will sell out easily even with a high price. As for future releases, I do feel both Marvel big 3's have to get this treatment. Spidey, Hulk, Wolverine, Cap, Thor, and Iron Man are a shoe-in. I think the old 12 inch ML lines are also a good indicator for other potential Max releases. So Daredevil, Black Panther, Venom, Dr. Doom, etc. I personally want to see some ladies get this treatment though. Storm, Captain Marvel, and Invisible Woman (even though they would def need to all the FF if they do this) would be great.
I've heard now from three different people that order figures for stores and all three of them independent from each other has told me the same price which is $72.99. For the maximum Spider-Man now can you imagine how much Hulk will be
Definitely think this line should be figures who need more effects instead of figures who benefit from extra articulation. So, Mr. Fantastic, Super Skrull, Absorbing man, Dr. Strange, Iceman, Storm, Magneto, Venom, etc.
I'm guessing the price is gonna be around the $40-55 range. The mass of plastic and tooling is less than a Hulk Buster or other massive figures, and it doesn't have any overt molds on the figure that they couldn't just reuse on a new figure. Marvel Legends isnt an import company, so i dint think they'd sell us a Spiderman at Import Figure Prices of $60-90, because at that point you might as well just buy a Figuarts or Mafex. If Marvel wants this line to last and be a main line event for years to come, they have to keep it at $50 at most. Thats twice the price of Retail for normal sized figures with enough accessories to quantify the base plastic as a 2 pack. Once they atart putting out bigger bodied maximum figures, they're gonna be around the price of Hulk Buster around $60-75 depending on the amount of accessories. But for a Spider-Man? $45-55 is my full guess.
Anyone that ever paid $50 for any figure will pay $50 for this without hesitation. Thats a fact in my book, especially if you're a Marvel Legends Spiderman fan trying to avoid aftermarket prices.
Objectively, I looks good in its first images. I know hasbro has to meet a certain margin. It’d be nice to know what that was per unit. I wonder how much they think it would sell. Tbh, if it were $35, I’d buy two. They’ve had such a supply issue recently, I can’t imagine they’d feel comfortable making these on more than the usual, recent amount of supply. They SHOULD be able to move a premium Spider-Man easily. If they price it right, these would sell like hotcakes because it is THEE best classic Spider-Man for most people. Dan said in the unparalleled live stream that everything Spider-Man doesn’t always sell as much as you’d think it would. With that said, I think they’d make a smaller supply and charge a higher price. Because it’s hasbro. I’d LOVE for them to prove me wrong. This is their chance. What will they do. Clearly it’s a hard decision for them because they still haven’t announced the thing and they want you to fall in love with it before you see the price. It’s hype. We’ll see what they do.
I mean, at this point we should all be familiar with Hasbro's pricing if we're still collecting this far in. I don't see an all new sculpted highly articulated spider-man from Hasbro with 3 heads, 5-6 sets of hands, 5 web fx w/stand & spidey sense for $35. We can all wish for this & argue that Hasbro "should" make it that price, but that just ain't gonna happen. I think $49.99 is the sweet spot that's justifiable based on all the stuff we're getting, as well as their other releases (looking at Phoenix Jean grey priced at $49.99 and that did include some modded reuse). But of course there's always the possibility the price hike could blindside us. I think I'd still buy Spider-man, even if the price is up there (I can always return it if it just doesn't feel worth it to me in hand)... but they'd probably price me out with continued high cost releases... that's where they'd lose me.
That’s a good point. Depending where you order from you could always return it. Although places like pulse and other fan channel places might not let you.
I feel like if the price was reasonable we would know it already. Prepare for sticker shock boys. I have a hard time with $100+ for some of these imports, they are great and I own some but if I can get most of the way there for around half that price then I'm supporting the line. It's a smart move if that's what they are aiming for.
Nice wishlist guys. My maximum wishlist are these characters who are up to now I still cannot find a definitive version for my liking : 1. Captain America 2. Gambit 3. Brown Wolverine 4. Sensational SpiderMan 5. SpiderMan 2099 6. Archangel 7. Dark Phoenix 8. Mr. Fantastic 9. Invisible Woman 10. Onslaught
@@thestrongcollectors that's awesome. I'm pertaining to the regular version, but i do need that x-force version as well and also a new x-force psylocke (thong version) to complete my main uncanny x-force team
The biggest selling point for me is that neck articulation. That’s the biggest piece of articulation I think hasbro was missing. The final piece of the puzzle if you’re so inclined. That needs to become the new standard for all their bucks. Diaphragm joint is good but that neck is the real game changer
my other choices for this line would be: Magneto- my #1 Carnage Hob Goblin Mr Sinister Dr Doom Archangel Apocalypse Wolverine Deadpool Venom Thanos Rogue Cable Mysterio
I’m honestly so stoked for this maximum line the only thing left is to see the pricing and I feel the exact same if the price is 50$ or above I’m probably gonna pass just because I already have many Spider-man figz but I’m praying for a new hulk😭🙏🏼
I hope someone announces when x factor jean grey goes up for pre-order on the target website. Because the guys that do Marvel Legends fan stream didn't say when, professor x goes up and it's sold out. I really want to get x factor jean grey
This line can't be released soo often. Because it then could, dip into sales of the same character in the mainline. Like characters with more looks/costumes to be made in the mainline should be put in Maximum wayyyyyyyy later. Having roughly 5 a year would be plenty!!! But they will go with the big wigs first. So with likely Hulk coming next, Wolverine, Captain America, Iron Man, Dr Strange, Venom, Daredevil, Nightcrawler, Dr Doom, Thor, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Wouldnt surprise me if a Punisher, Cyclops, Scarlet Witch, Fantastic Four, Dark Phoenix, and War Machine
It's probably gonna be somewhere between $40-50. I can't imagine the SM being more than $50. Now if they do a Hulk...no way that thing is less than $70.
I hope they go for $35. If they wanted to be $40-45. Then It should also come with webbackpack, camera, and loose mask and hands for holding those. Either way I'm gonna get it. Maybe 2. One unmasked with RYV Peter Parker headsculpt (which for me looks better) I'm big Spider-man fan especially 80s and 90s. (Mcfarlane and Bagley style), alot of webbing on the suit with big eyes. Yeah I can't skip this😂 Mr Fantastic derserves Maximum. I agree Iron Man should have Maximum treatment. BIG BLAST Effects! not small ones like earlier releases. The new upcoming Ultimate Iron man should come with effects as the tiny comicbookcover. The Iron man figure should be bigger so it. And I agree and open facemask. Gambit, Magneto! maximum treatment yes! I personally want a Daredevil and Punisher get Maximum treatment. Punisher should get alot of guns and exposive effects!
$40 for Spidey would be painful, but still a possible purchase, but $50 would be too high, too much of a stretch for me. Hulk is my favorite but $70-75 is a definite pass.
We for sure will. We’ve got 2 for this channel, a live stream, and members only video this week and 1 episode coming on strong collector comics this week too.
That’s 100% what happens. That’s why I don’t go for the mafex marvel. I can say it and mean with dc as long as Todd’s got the license. At least for classic looks.
We could basically get a Maximum series figure for most of the characters to show their power effects and or weapons. I don't need or want unmasked heads because I will never display them. The possibilities are endless.
I was saying $39.99 for Spider-Man and most of the maximum line but when we get to the deluxe sized for the maximum line like the hulk I’m thinking $64.99
Ever sense I've heard comparisons of this Spider-Man to Mafex quality... I feel like a lot of people are gonna be upset when they come out with a price tag of at least $60... Probably higher... It looks great and I could definitely love it at $35.. maybe as high as $45 but, let's not forget this is a company with an unreleased hellcharger..
Gentlemen, great topic of discussion. I'd rather wait to see what Spidey's price is going to be, before I get excited for it. Hasbro has a way of making lousy price decisions. Odin is a prime example of this. Sure the figure looks great, but has the same articulation of a Marvel Select. Marvel Select's are nowhere near that price. If Spidey is 50, I'd be happy.
I will pay a premium price for a premium product, and while the new spidey is nice, its not THAT nice. If it sells out at £50 we can all look forward to price increases across the entire ML line.
That is such a good point, so many people wanna act high and mighty about price but then you look behind them and they're surrounded by tons of figures and 3 Sentinels.
So hypothetically speaking, would you be open to buying this figure for $100...knowing that the average Marvel Legend msrp is about $25 in the US ? Knowing that even with added articulation, paint deco, and a slew of accessories (not including the sculpt), it may not even be worth it? Comparing Hasbro products to import figures and CROWDFUNDED Haslab products (several of which didn't even get backed)? Welp, the saying goes "There's a sucker born every minute." 😑 Might as well raise the prices of every other figure they produce with that mindset.
i see your point but at the end of the day this is a marvel legend. everyone has to make the choice themsleves if it's worth the money. for me, if it cost the same as 2 stand figures, it's not worth it. I don't really need any of the web effect (i like them but not enough to spend double).
🎯The figure alone is $35 and that’s more than $15 in accessories. It’s called Maximum guys, it can’t have a minimum price. Custom 3D printed guns for GI JOES are $10 to $15 a piece, for one gun. I say $45, plus it’s Spider-Man. The crazy thing is resellers are going to start at $80 to $100
Possibly. For me an any other collector that can think ahead it can easily be passable. Like I said, if you don’t buy this one hasbro will reuse the body again at some point and you can get it then. And this is only the best Spider-Man until they do another update in a few years.
have you had a mafex figure before? I feel like i can't really describe why it feels better but it just does. the joints are smooth and hold positions really well. I still prefer Legends most of the time but the feel of a mafex is incredible.
They’re not of the same quality that’s the thing. The plastic alone on a mafex is of higher quality. No gummy joints the joints don’t warp over time, the articulation is just smoother and overall feels more pleasing. I actually am a bigger legends collector than mafex but there’s no doubt the mafex are just a higher caliber of figures. Now if this was at the same quality as an import (plastic and all) then no $50 is not to much.
@@Sayacalbees87 It's kind of hard to be a bigger Mafex than Legends collector with Mafex releasing only very few characters and their alternate costumes.
@@misterpreposterous5771 there's plenty of people out there that only buy Mapex, or only large legends like rhino and juggernaut to compliment their Mafex.
I think it's justifiable to have this and the mafex spidey. Theyre different interpretations of different artists. Mafex is Bagley, Hasbro is McFarlane
I would want them to do a increase size for a maximum hulk and the other characters I would want in maximum. Is thor loki captain american psylock. wolverine mr fantastic mile morales spider man. Ben reilly scarlet spider kane scarlet spider. Venom doctor doom carnage invisible woman iceman storm daredevil. These are the characters I really want to see in maximum.
Hulk was rumored to be next. My choice for a villain to get the MAXIMUM treatment would be Doctor Doom. Give me something along the lines of the version released by One:12th with the wired cape and cloth tunic, multiple hands and heads, and a build-a-throne. That, in my opinion, would be epic.
Hasbro has bad pricing on all of their lines (licensed or otherwise). When the Legends went up in price, a standard figure was $19.99 and went up to $24.99 while a deluxe offering was $29.99 and went up to $34.99. The price went up $5 per item across the board. Where did the $39.99 price come from? Where did the $27.99 price come from? Hasbro is arbitrarily pricing their products and we are forced to accept it. Last year was an anniversary year for Marvel Comics and the character Wolverine. Those figures should have been everywhere but they were not in retail stores. Maximum Spider-Man is going to be $49.99 just like Phoenix. Hasbro already set the bait and buyers bit and are on the hook. Buying Odin, Hulk-Buster and Phoenix set the idea in Hasbro that the collectors will pay import prices for domestic goods. When I go to Wal-Mart and Target and can't find a two pack of Wolverine toys, i have to think that something is going wrong. The biggest Marvel movie of the year (Deadpool and Wolverine) and Wolverine's 50th Anniversary and X-men 97' and not one Wolverine figure on the shelf for Christmas. If MAXIMUM Spider-Man is big like Renew Your Vows Spider-Man, I don't really want him anyway. I like cool stand alone pieces, but Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man fits into my collection better than all the other Spider-Man figures.
They are starting to charge what most sh figuarts and mafex releases cost to buy in Japan. The only difference is that these are NOWHERE near the same ballpark of quality that those companies produce
Also wanted to add, putting in effects and extra hands doesn’t mean you get to raise the price, these things should have already been included at the price we’ve BEEN paying!!!
I agree with the first part but not the second. A standard marvel legends price has been set. To think adding in a lot more accessories should cost the same doesn’t really make a ton of sense. That said, it’s still not a mafex and shouldn’t be priced like one.
Im just surprised its his Mcfarlane/MVC design. I love that look but i was expecting Romita Sr's design to be the definitive design. But hey its a fan favorite look so i get that they went with this one. If its more than 50 I'll pass. Also Daredevil is absolutely going to be in this line. With them locking his classic look behind not one but two 2 packs, i can see them marking him up single release with a 50 dollar tag
The Phoenix figure is close to $60. Crystal and Lockhaw are $60. This Spiderman is not going to be less than $50. Even $45 is wishful thinking here. I dont understand what the confusion is about. Deluxe figures have always cost more than standard figures and no one has complained about that so far. Im not a Spiderman fan so this figure is not for me, but even I know its going to cost a pretty penny.
bcuz this is the best looking SpiderMan they’ve ever made imo - i’m probably gonna get it no matter what the price however if it’s above 40 i will be annoyed. and 30/35 is wishful thinking and ain’t gonna happen
I'd be selective at a $50 price point. I'd do Cap, Magneto, and Storm especially in her neoclassic costume she wore in almost every promo image in the 2000s. Gambit if he's perfect. Iceman should be set up like the Phoenix deluxe set from 2024. Thor would be good too since mine is just Ragnarok with the eyes painted white.
That's Peter's face when MJ asks if he wants to fool around.
oh boy!
I think we all have to be realistic. If this were 40 dollars, it would be a deluxe. And we see that deluxes usually don’t have this much new sculpt and accessories. We should expect upwards of 50 dollars for this
I won’t be surprised if it is but I also won’t be getting it either if it is.

I'm say $40-$45 , the commenter below says three different people have told him $72, no way that happens. At $72 it will sit, dragon man is $80, Hulkbuster was $60. Having a Maximum Spider-Man at $72 is absolutely nuts
I’m going with you at 40-45. You’ve got those inside sources. I was actually going to pm you and see if you knew for sure.
@thestrongcollectors pm me anytime, I'm more than happy to be a guest also
Just remember that the Marvel Select Hulk was $30, and it had 2 heads, 4 hands, and crazy good paint.
I still prefer the legends hulk. Maybe if that select had a different head but that’s were they really lost me on him and the red hulk.
Daredevil would be great on that new spiderman body
I believe he has to be included. Him n Spidey and nightcrawler are that dynamic
maybe. I feel like i normally think of DD being a little buffer.
I do think Daredevil would be good but maybe a little stockier.
Fantastic episode, I need a few more!!
This week we’ll have 1 more strong collectors episode, a livestream, a strong collector comics episode, and a channel member episode. We’ve got you covered.
$37.99 and that's as high as it should be.
I don’t think you’re wrong there
It’s pretty easy to guess who would be first to get maximum treatment. Cap, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, Dr. Strange, the Thing & one of the X-Men I just wouldn’t know which iteration of the uniforms they would choose to be as the maximum. I’d like to see 4-6 figures a year from maximum. No more than that.
you know what, I didn't think of Cap at first but I think i could go for that.
I think Wolverine feels like an obvious one they would do.
Here my two options:
- Cyclops (classic blue and yellow) with 4 blaster effect and 3 heads (estoic, agressive, with glasses)
- Daredevil (red classic). Sticks with and without tie, cane, 4 pair of hands, 3 heads
Cheers 🎉
Those sound like cool figures. I’d like to see them.
I’d really love to see wired web lines from them at some point. I think the long web lines are the weakest accessories in their arsenal.
It looks great but I really wished they finally gave Spider-Man the double peg joint for the waist, THIS is where they should have done it
I know it's an outside shot but a super poseable, comic style purple outfit Hawkeye would rock. Plenty of accessory options with effects for various arrows.
I’d love an arrow like the ToyBiz one with antman on it.
@thestrongcollectors That would be great. And I am biased because I have been a Hawkeye fan since the 80s.
Thinking back to that ToyBiz one… that was a crazy amount of value in that box.
39.99 is my guess. My price range is 37.99-42.99. Much like Dakota I will buy two if it’s under $40. I still like the Mafex spidey.
Let’s hope we’re right! Come on hasbro
Red Hulk cost around $60 here in Sweden. So that Maximum Spider man will cost a lot here.
yikes. at that rate i'd probably rather get the comic version.
I regretted not getting 3 pack daredevil, so a maximum daredevil would be perfect.
35-40 pricepoint for this line would be smart.
Arguably, everything here should be invluded for the 25 pricepoint anyways 😅
True. But the bar has been set at what a standard figure is and comes with. This is definitely more so they’ll unfortunately charge more
@@thestrongcollectors the funny thing though is if you compare this to the deluxe black widow, it's really not that much more plastic. Black widow was 30, so if this is more than 35 then they're trying to fool us with the bigger packaging and MAXIMUM branding and unfortunately many will fall for it.
That’s true. And the 2 pack Deadpool came loaded with stuff too and was a reasonable price
I just hope his price isn’t way nuts
I’m almost positive this’ll be 50 bucks.
i'm getting worried.
Neca is $35. No need to be any higher than that.
What more would you want from a black widow than what we got with the last one? Or just a different look?
@ No idea. Lol. I just got super excited. That figure is already quite amazing!!
I really liked the grey suit version so maybe they could do an update of that with the jet pack
Hoping for better Hulk shoulders. They are way too bulbous
i can't wait to see the all new hulk
I would love a dr strange from the oath that’s probably my favorite look for Stevie
He would be great for this line.
I’ll buy it at 50. If it’s less than 40 I’ll buy 4. Think about that hasbro you can have 50 of my money or 120 of my money? Balls in your court
You want moneys don’t you Hasbro?!
We’ve never gotten a really good Loki from Hasbro. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were holding off on him until he can get in the Maximum line.
I don’t mind the… I don’t remember what wave but the classic one. It’s not really my era of Loki but it looks classic at least.
Although the price mystery is definitely cause for concern, can I just say that I really expect Wolverine to be the next Maximum figure revealed? And I'm intrigued to see what they do with it.
I think he makes a lot of sense to do. One of the biggest names for marvel so I could see a lot of people wanting a definitive version.
@thestrongcollectors The question is... Byrne or classic Blue and Yellow?
A FF Byrne-esque She-Hulk would be a must-have! I'll take a five figure set, even!
I've heard now from three different people that order figures for stores and all three of them independent from each other has told me the same price which is $72.99. For the maximum Spider-Man now can you imagine how much Hulk will be
$40 is honest and reasonable but its hasbro so $50 is the likely their target. Maybe more
I’m thinking they’ll keep it as low as they can ish. It could be $25 but that’s nuts so I’m thinking under $50 is a must.
Definitely think this line should be figures who need more effects instead of figures who benefit from extra articulation. So, Mr. Fantastic, Super Skrull, Absorbing man, Dr. Strange, Iceman, Storm, Magneto, Venom, etc.
Agreed. Pack in accessories not one more point of articulation. I think it seems like they are doing a combo though so that’s a good bonus imo
It's a cool McFarlane Spidey, but the definitive would be a Romita Spidey for me ,and you can't use these lanky proportions for that.
Maybe that will be the next one they use this body for
Agreed. The Romita-esque Spiderman is my definitive choice.
totally need more episodes like this
We’ve got some cooking. I’m really interested in what people will think of Thursdays episode. Really thinking collectors type of episode.
I’ve spent over $50 on many figures but won’t on this. There are other marvel legends Spider-Man’s and there will be more.
Id kill for a brand new pinless Mr Fantastic
Especially in this line, he could come with a bunch of stretchy alternate pieces
True. Then not saying the price does worry me.
Nice wishlist guys. My maximum wishlist are these characters who are up to now I still cannot find a definitive version for my liking :
1. Captain America
2. Gambit
3. Brown Wolverine
4. Sensational SpiderMan
5. SpiderMan 2099
6. Archangel
7. Dark Phoenix
8. Mr. Fantastic
9. Invisible Woman
10. Onslaught
Archangel should be coming this year. Although I don’t know if it would be you definitive version because he’ll be in the x force black and grey
THE NECK!!
@@thestrongcollectors that whole episode you did on it! I hope hasbro was paying attention
If we get to have them on talking legends I’ll definitely ask them
my other choices for this line would be:
Magneto- my #1
Carnage
Hob Goblin
Mr Sinister
Dr Doom
Archangel
Apocalypse
Wolverine
Deadpool
Venom
Thanos
Rogue
Cable
Mysterio
I’m honestly so stoked for this maximum line the only thing left is to see the pricing and I feel the exact same if the price is 50$ or above I’m probably gonna pass just because I already have many Spider-man figz but I’m praying for a new hulk😭🙏🏼
I like hearing and shootin out ideas
I hope someone announces when x factor jean grey goes up for pre-order on the target website. Because the guys that do Marvel Legends fan stream didn't say when, professor x goes up and it's sold out. I really want to get x factor jean grey
This line can't be released soo often. Because it then could, dip into sales of the same character in the mainline.
Like characters with more looks/costumes to be made in the mainline should be put in Maximum wayyyyyyyy later.
Having roughly 5 a year would be plenty!!! But they will go with the big wigs first. So with likely Hulk coming next, Wolverine, Captain America, Iron Man, Dr Strange, Venom, Daredevil, Nightcrawler, Dr Doom, Thor, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider,
Wouldnt surprise me if a Punisher, Cyclops, Scarlet Witch, Fantastic Four, Dark Phoenix, and War Machine
Anyone when this goes up for preorder?
They haven’t said yet. But next month some time.
I don't think it's going to be 50$ until afterwards 🕷🕸❤
That’s my hope too. I think he’ll go up in the after market.
Yeah I can't skip this😂
Mr Fantastic derserves Maximum.
Hulk is my favorite but $70-75 is a definite pass.
keep the videos coming
We for sure will. We’ve got 2 for this channel, a live stream, and members only video this week and 1 episode coming on strong collector comics this week too.
Venom! Enough said
What would you want him to come with?
@ Eddie Brock head. Eddie Brock head starting to transform. Symbiote webbing attachments and a Mcfarlane venom head sculpt like the spidey.
ML collectors: I bought a Mafex so I never need another Spidey.
A new Spidey!? Shut up and take my money!
I 100% agree with Unmasked heads being unnecessary.
I was saying $39.99 for Spider-Man and most of the maximum line but when we get to the deluxe sized for the maximum line like the hulk I’m thinking $64.99
I’d be in at those prices I think.
@ I feel those are maxes for me.
I'm already seeing all the spidermen relaunched using this body mold, comic, movie versions. one i really hope for is insomniac spiderman
There;s plenty of great Spider-man figures already. I will pass at $50.00. Banshee has me far more excited.
and it's not like they won't use this exact same body again for another spiderman
At any price, im buying it either way. People can throw money on imports figures and crowdfund haslabs so I don’t see the issue 🤷♂️
Maximum treatment Hero’s : Iron Man, FF, Thor, Hulk, Captain America,Jack of Hearts, Daredevil classic looking Punisher, Villians Doctor Doom, Mandarin, Mad thinker Red Skull , Magento, Gravitron, Baron Mordo owl, DeathStalker, DD Gladiator,
🎯The figure alone is $35 and that’s more than $15 in accessories. It’s called Maximum guys, it can’t have a minimum price. Custom 3D printed guns for GI JOES are $10 to $15 a piece, for one gun. I say $45, plus it’s Spider-Man. The crazy thing is resellers are going to start at $80 to $100
6:05 I wouldn’t be surprised if Spider-Man is $55
Will the 60% taxes on imports from china affect legends pricing
They are from china so I’d say yes.
Spider-Man-40$
Captain America-40$
Ironman-45$
Wolverine-45&
Hulk-60$-65
Magneto-50$
Dr. Doom-50$
FF-55$each
Daredevil-45$
50$. People say they are not buying it. People will buy it and they will stop making it and resell is gonna be crazy high!
Possibly. For me an any other collector that can think ahead it can easily be passable. Like I said, if you don’t buy this one hasbro will reuse the body again at some point and you can get it then. And this is only the best Spider-Man until they do another update in a few years.
Wolverine yellow/blue, wolverine brown,
Daredevil, punisher, dr doom battle damage,
Cable first appearance,
If its import quality is $50 too much? What makes an import worth more if they are the same quality?
have you had a mafex figure before? I feel like i can't really describe why it feels better but it just does. the joints are smooth and hold positions really well. I still prefer Legends most of the time but the feel of a mafex is incredible.
@@thestrongcollectorsNever touched one or seen one in person….. now I’m curious
Jordan needs no help justifying lol. If it’s Spider-Man, he wants it.
Do you wanna see it make sense to charge ir 50 or more? - “would you buy it?”… “-Aahh.. you know how much I love my spidermans “. Boom… there you are
50 is still under half the price of Sentinel,Mafex and Yamaguchi figures...so what is the big deal..?
Im going for 35 bc shipping would bump that up to like 40-45
If hasbro made this with love in mind then this is possible. Might be a long shot though.
Isn’t there supposed to be a battle damage Spider-Man this year?
i think this is that. I'd have to check the leaks again though.
Since they are starting with Spiderman the next max fig should be a comic Green goblin, do a hero than a villian
that would be a really cool pairing.
3:32 Well it's guys Like you that cause these prices to keep going up!
$40 seems fair
$25 for the figure and $15 for the accessories

On the hulk price, the figures you mentioned has less articulation, less accessories, and less demand than a maximum hulk would/will.
Odin comes with a bunch of accessories
@@thestrongcollectors less articulation than maximum hulk.
People screaming it will be 50 and ima buy it rubbed me the wrong way. Thats giving hasbro the thought of cool, we will charge just that. Ridiculous
I don't collect legends... I'll probably get my fav Marvel characters from maximum line
that 's a good idea. only get the cream of the crop.
Im not a Spiderman fan so this figure is not for me, but even I know its going to cost a pretty penny.
bcuz this is the best looking SpiderMan they’ve ever made imo - i’m probably gonna get it no matter what the price
however if it’s above 40 i will be annoyed.
and 30/35 is wishful thinking and ain’t gonna happen
But for how long will this be the best ever Spider-Man? That was said about RYV and that’s a pretty recent figure.
Also I'd buy any Legends Doom. He's my favorite villain tied only with Mystique.
Holy shit a Maximum Mystique would be so dope. Doubt she'd be more than a regular deluxe if that tho.
With inflation it will likely be 49.99 to 54.99. Video games are rumored to start costing 100 bucks with GTA as of today
That’s wild. I’ll stick to free Fortnite.
