I live in Beijing and I hope it gets better soon in Seoul! I’m an English teacher and thankfully I’m still getting paid the same. And lately, we’ve switched from teaching in the classroom to online video teaching. So it’s all a new experience for everyone! And even in public, only 3 people per table in restaurants. On the subway, if you want to ride, you have to make an appointment now! Love the new furniture in your apartment!
Wow. An appointment to ride the subway. Some academies in Korea are also teaching through Skype. it's a lot more mentally draining than teaching the children in the classroom.

Love your chatty vlog videos- I love how real to the situation you guys are, it sucks that TH-cam is demonetising these kinds of videos. I've been actually binge watching vlogs from around the world and I'm finding comfort in them and they're super interesting to watch. I'm in Australia and I work in a small family store (Asian grocer) run by my Mum. And honestly this period is the toughest I've experience in my life (even though I'm only 25). Before this situation business was already declining & quiet, but we were hit with sudden angry, anxious panic buying customers (people buying rice, toilet paper LOL, instant noodles and canned foods). We made about 2-3 months of income in a matter of 3-4 days (which is ridiculous). What makes it worse is that majority of our stock is imported from China so there are shortages and delays in stock (like rice noodles, spices, rice, and etc. food LOL). Now business is quiet as usual, and we're noticing how each country is dealing with this situation. In Australia there aren't many cases *yet*. In Australia people don't wear masks (even though I want to- cuz I paid for them and protect my customers and myself) but people will also frown at you, and swear at you because you're evoking fear as well as hogging medical PPE that is hard to find even for our medical professionals. In the cities you'll find some more 'hand sanitisers' in random walls of buildings, but that's all I'm seeing. I feel that if the outbreak got worse in Australia- we would not be as prepared for it as S.Korea and Hong Kong- but again that's my opinion. It's crazy how people act and how it really affects daily living. I can't even begin to imagine schools closing and businesses shutting for long periods of time here~~ P.S I love the wooden/ nature theme of your apartment~ :D And I would probs be taking photos of the stray kitties too- they're too cute :3

The kitties on the car are so cute and hilarious! :D It's so interesting to see how each country is reacting to the situation. I'm luckily not affected directly, but I work in international sales at a publishing company in NY and we've been advised not to travel and to potentially work from home. We'd been preparing for one of the biggest book fairs we attend every year that takes place in London next week and even that had to be canceled. It's at least nice to see that companies are taking their employee's health as a priority over business.

We have our first case here in Connecticut, USA... I lost my job last year and became totally depressed about it. While looking for employment, I started working freelance from home since I’m a graphic designer and can work remotely. Now, I feel blessed that I don’t have to commute to work while this virus is active!!! What a strange turn of events for me, such an emotional roller coaster... Exactly, in France no kisses on the cheeks, no handshakes and no welcome hugs for us anymore... My company actually asked us to either wave to each other or to do some kind of a shoulder bump(?) since even the elbow is off limits (it is where you're supposed to cough and sneeze into!). We are not as impacted as you are in Korea but due to close proximity with Italy, the local autorities are in a bit of panic...

Yes :( The situation is a big problem now. Whenever I flow into a restaurant or cafe you can name it, I feel so bad cuz me and my friends are only people eating there. Hopefully it's getting better and better economically.

I live in Ireland and" it"has come here to, the first case was confirmed two weeks ago and there are now around 40 people infected. All the schools,collages and baby care facilities are closed but there is so much panic buying going on it's so silly as a lot of the things are made in Ireland. I was watching a report about how the virus will cause another GFC/Recession. It's pretty grim. I feel for people already affected by it due to loss of income. Sitting here watching and smiling cos I know exactly how you feel about the new house and everything coming together. Me and mine have lived in our current house for the last 6 yrs and we’ve only just started to make it feel more like home (we’re renters too). Did the bedroom a few weeks ago and will start on the living room, bathroom or kitchen next - room by room (less stressful). Love that the stray kitties are getting lots of attention, like little celebrities 😹
I'm from Long Beach and we're part of Los Angeles county. Just recently the county of LA declared a state of emergency. I've read that many businesses in our Chinatown area is suffering from loss of business. Also the cruise ships we have here that travel to Mexico dock in Long Beach and there was a halt to disembarking due to someone experiencing some symptoms so that person is being tested. Once the results are clear, they will allow passengers to disembark. I've been on one of these cruise once and honestly I don't like it because I feel like germs can be spread so easily. I don't like that everyone is enclosed on the ship. I do feel sorry for the current passengers who are now stuck on the ship until further notice. Hopefully all is going to be well.
I would like to recommend buying a Kotatsu which you can buy on G-market site for your cozy home. It is pretty good in winter. I am Korean, living in Quebec. We have Kotatsu at home and it works really well. Usually cats love it.
That intercom phone thingie above the couch 🛋 would drive me up the wall 🤣. I’m guessing that intercom is part of the apartment. So you can’t just move it to another area.

We have our first case here in Connecticut, USA... I lost my job last year and became totally depressed about it. While looking for employment, I started working freelance from home since I’m a graphic designer and can work remotely. Now, I feel blessed that I don’t have to commute to work while this virus is active!!! What a strange turn of events for me, such an emotional roller coaster... Please stay safe you two and everyone out there!!!! PS: love love the new light colored furniture, and the plants are awesome! 😊

Your apartment is looking good...I suggest felt chair foot pads, so the chairs slide back and forth easier and it doesn't scratch the wood floor. (I have them on my chairs) Please stay safe and healthy!!

Exactly, in France no kisses on the cheeks, no handshakes and no welcome hugs for us anymore... My company actually asked us to either wave to each other or to do some kind of a shoulder bump(?) since even the elbow is off limits (it is where you're supposed to cough and sneeze into!). We are not as impacted as you are in Korea but due to close proximity with Italy, the local autorities are in a bit of panic...

Yes :( The situation is a big problem now. Whenever I flow into a restaurant or cafe you can name it, I feel so bad cuz me and my friends are only people eating there. Hopefully it's getting better and better economically.

I live in Ireland and" it"has come here to, the first case was confirmed two weeks ago and there are now around 40 people infected. All the schools,collages and baby care facilities are closed but there is so much panic buying going on it's so silly as a lot of the things are made in Ireland. Yesterday I just found out my city has its first case of the 'situation'. It's definitely scary and I think I'll be trying to stay home as much as possible until everything calms down.

I just love everything in your apartment. You are such a good decorator, I put my plants in vases but I never thought about using pretty stones also. I will try that. I was watching a report about how the virus will cause another GFC/Recession. It's pretty grim. I feel for people already affected by it due to loss of income. Ooh your home is looking so nice (& 'cozy' as Kyuho said). Being surrounded by furnishings & things you love is always a good feeling! Sitting here watching and smiling cos I know exactly how you feel about the new house and everything coming together. Me and mine have lived in our current house for the last 6 yrs and we’ve only just started to make it feel more like home (we’re renters too). Did the bedroom a few weeks ago and will start on the living room, bathroom or kitchen next - room by room (less stressful). Love that the stray kitties are getting lots of attention, like little celebrities 😹
I'm from Long Beach and we're part of Los Angeles county. Just recently the county of LA declared a state of emergency. I've read that many businesses in our Chinatown area is suffering from loss of business. Also the cruise ships we have here that travel to Mexico dock in Long Beach and there was a halt to disembarking due to someone experiencing some symptoms so that person is being tested. Once the results are clear, they will allow passengers to disembark.
I've been on one of these cruise once and honestly I don't like it because I feel like germs can be spread so easily. I don't like that everyone is enclosed on the ship. I do feel sorry for the current passengers who are now stuck on the ship until further notice. Hopefully all is going to be well.

It is pretty good in winter.

We have Kotatsu at home and it works really well. Usually cats love it.

That intercom phone thingie above the couch 🛋 would drive me up the wall 🤣. I’m guessing that intercom is part of the apartment. So you can’t just move it to another area.
Ohh, it DOES drive us nuts, but we already bought something to ‘deal’ with it ;)
