The reason why the two shields from season 2 are the same is because back then there wasn't a place in the locker to equip different backblings, and whatever skin u had on, u automatically had there matching backbling on. And when epic added a backbling thing in the locker in season 3 the blue squire and royale knight had the same backbling design basically so it created two of the same backblings because even though they look the same, technically the went two different skins.
