    The starter motor sounds similar to a MK3 Transit van and have never forgotten how distinct Turbo Daily's sounded

    How long does it take to start on freezing cold mornings when it hadn't been used for several days? Does it take longer if you leave the battery in it?

    Hey David - your Daily is in fantastic condition! - I have bought a Turbo Daily 2.5 1994 Camper this summer. Very difficult to look for spare parts - I have some things, which has to be fixed with time. How good is the support for this old Daily´s in Slovenia? Also thinking of giving the drivers cabin part a new paintwork later on. Are there skilled mechanics for this vehicles in Slovenia? Thanks for showing your old but pretty daily to us!

      Hi Alfwaibel, it is not that hard to find spare parts for it, becouse those trucks were very common in this part of Europe and are steal in use to this day. Any mechanic can fix it. But for more complexe things is better to find older mechanic. I have a mechanic that realy like old trucks and tractorc and enjoy to fix them.

      @@dakaloka Thank you very much, mate! - So, I am going to check that during my next Slovenia/Croatia trip :) Especially for my diesel tank meter, which is broken - it was not working at all before, and after some huge bill from my garage, it now works very bad (the fuel gauge just jitters the whole time during drive, beside of sometimes in low rpm, when it shows the diesel tank level correctly).

    Izgleda da ti Termostarter uopće ne radi. Vani je, čini mi se, bilo hladno i trebalo se uključiti predgrijavanje 🤔

      Ja znam, mislim da samo lampica ne radi, trebam jo promjenit. 😅

      @@dakaloka možda si u pravu, ali sumnjam. U svakom slučaju, čini se da si palio na "hladno". Sistem je takav da ako se pali prerano, proces predgrijavanja se prekida, ventil ne otvara i nema plamena u usisu. Pokušaj zamijeniti sijalicu, bilo bi sjajno da je to problem 👌

      @@sinisastanojevic246 Zdravo, išao sam još jedan put provjerit. Na armaturi je TEST gumb za provjeravanje lampica. I lampica za predgrivanje radi. Možda so grijelne svječice za promjenit. Ali ipak mi ni tako bitno jer ovaj kamion zimi skoro ništa ne upotreljavamo.

      @@dakaloka ovaj motor nema klasične grijače već samo jedan u usisu. Na temperaturama iznad 2 se ne aktivira, pali se motor odmah. Kad je hladno grije se oko 35 sekundi. Kad je toplo pri kontaktu lampica mora jednom žmignuti kao znak da je sve OK. CU je smještena ili iza brisača ili tu negdje, siva kutija. Možda nema napajanja, osigurač? Konektor(i)?

      @@sinisastanojevic246 Hvala za odgovor. O nisam znao, da ima samo jedan grijač na usisu, zanimljivo. Ipak ču provjeriti osigurač. A čini se mi, da je problem možda sa elektroniku. Počeli so se pojavljivat sitni problemi tipa: ne radi mi ventilator za kabinu, i ovake sitne stvari. Ma vidjet čemo, polako, ipak se mi ne žuri. Hvala za pomoč. Pozdrav.
