O’right, yes let’s say that a star wars’ stormtrooper can beat a member of astra militarum. I would say that is fair and really I personally feel it can go either way, buuuuut. There is never an Astra Militarum trooper. And why the stormtrooper is busy killing the one trooper, the rest of a squad are busy digging graves for the two, sneaking up on the guy to shovel him and still have men left over to dig a trench and probably prepare lunch.
Why the hell is there only one stormtrooper, what is the rest of his squad doing?
And a better comparison would be imperial army troopers as they are the Empire’s main soldiers.
And it depends on if you’re using Legends stormtroopers or Disney stormtroopers, legends stormtroopers are monsters in combat and are typically portrayed how their meant to be, as elite shock troops, Disney stormtroopers on the other hand are far less dangerous than their Legends counterparts and a portrayed as over glorified PDF with the numbers to match.
and it depends on which sort of guard regiment their fighting , i.e Krieger, cadian, mordian, Tanith, Valhallan, praetorian, catachan or are they up against a normal guardsmen from an unremarkable world like most of the guard are.
And a war depends upon whether the imperium is invading the Star Wars galaxy or is the Empire invading the 40k galaxy and how many troops are involved, if the imperium attempts to invade the Empire then the imperium will lose after some early gains, if the Empire invades the imperium in the 40k galaxy then the empire will not be able to conquer the entire imperium but will maintain a similar existence to the Tau if only a bit larger than them.

Also on the Geno part… when you surprise the Dark Eldar at all in any way, you are on a whole new level. Because anything surprising them short of being harlequins, Slaanesh, and Nurgle is the most legendary feat of all time.

That ending segment defending the honour of the good ol' IG was amazing! The whole video was a real treat to watch but that part was my favourite.

While the Stormtroopers of Star Wars lost a battle on Endor, I wouldn't hold it against them too much. They were understaffed and made deliberately to be an easy target so that the Emperor would have the bait needed to try and turn Luke to replace his father as Sideous's new apprentice. Also I hate the fact everyone jokes about "inaccurate" Stormtroopers are when they were deliberately missing the heroes on the Deathstar. This I feel is similar to how the Colonial Marine Corps was easily overwhelmed by the xenomorph at first due to the arrogance of their overconfidence and not realizing the danger they were in, vs later in the film how they held their ground. In Aliens Fireteam Elite how with training and understanding of the dangers of their opponents the USCM is able to deal with swarms of Xenomorph. In Endor the Empire was cocky, on Hoth they were out for blood.
The empire was winning the ground battle on Endor until Chewy stole an AT-ST, also the Ewoks had better knowledge of the terrain and the element of surprise and the physical strength of a Wookie.
After the initial shock of the attack the Stormtroopers immediately gained the upper hand and were decimating the Rebels and Ewoks.
The Empire completely rolled over the Rebels on Hoth with ease.
After the first battle of Yavin the rebels were forced to retreat immediately by the empire’s counter attack.

I hope you’ll cover Space Marine Terminator armor at some point in the near future. It’s always such a “OH SHIT, WE’RE FUCKED,” moment whenever someone is on the receiving end of a Terminator assault in the books. I could even provide some information if you’d like. It’s the absolute coolest thing in 40K to me, and I probably know more about it than is healthy. But your delivery would just make it so much better.

You seriously under appreciate how big of a deal it is for someone to be able to make it through Q Course, or even Ranger School. Most of the population isn't physically capable of it, and most of the people who are physically capable are not mentally capable. And those are just entrances into the communities that Delta recruits from...
Even in the 41st Millennium, you're not getting a mostly conscripted force like the IG to complete that kind of training
