Correction Mr. Commentator. . Our players frm the Philippines r not naturalised. . They r half Filipinos meaning mum or dad s a Full Blooded Filipino! Just saying Sir. Alot may react but hey we r n the era where n inter racial marriage s normal nd we have 10%-12% of our population 10-12 million working abroad and im 1 of them
you are correct Che M and Philippines is a Multi Race country.in my knowledge you can only call naturalized player if the player is foreign player or pure american etc..
Im full filipino and i have white skin like american......and filipino has 170 languages in the phillipines....even if u search it on google.. Type in how many languages does the phillipines has? (Search it on google).
LMAO at the naturalization part. No wonder the rest of Southeast Asia are pounding us with idiotic labels such as "united nations". Next time, you might want to do some damn research AFF. What a horribly misinformed bunch. Seriously unprofessional. Here's something you could use for the next Suzuki Cup to prevent the spread of ignorance: Philip & James Younghusband, Chris & Simon Greatwich, Robert James Gier, Mark Hartmann - Filipino-British, Filipina mother & British father Juani Guirado, Tomas Trigo - Filipino-Spanish, Filipina mother & Spanish father Daisuke Sato - Filipino-Japanese, Filipina mother & Japanese father Simone Rota - Italian-Filipino, born to Filipino parents but gained Italian citizenship due to adoption by Italian parents Martin Steuble - Filipino-Swiss, Filipina mother & Swiss father Manuel Ott - Filipino-German, Filipina mother & German father Misagh Bahadoran - Filipino-Iranian, Filipina mother & Iranian father Jerry Lucena - Filipino-Spanish-Danish, Danish mother & Filipino-Spanish father Patrick Reichelt - Filipino-German, Filipina mother & German father Kenshiro Daniels - Filipino-American, Filipina mother & American father Paul Mulders - Filipino-Dutch, Filipina mother & Dutch father Amani Aguinaldo, Patrick Deyto, Dennis Villanueva, Curt Dizon - Filipino, born to Filipino parents And that's just for the squad this edition. There's more at home playing for our local clubs and abroad who's just waiting for their time to be called-up. But seriously AFF, this multi-racial team have been with you since 2010 (and even way before that actually), and you reward us with disrespect. C'mon AFF, shape up and be professional.
Other countries doesn't have an understanding of this because they don't have the dual citizenship option. Like in Indonesia. van Dijk and Lilipaly both have Indonesian blood but they have to renounce their previous nationality (through naturalization) in order to play for the Merah Putih. In the case of Singapore (who really has naturalized players in their squad), there's this requirement of residency regardless if the person has Singaporean parentage or not. If I'm not mistaken, the commentator is Malaysian. Malaysia has complicated citizenship law. A person can play for the national team ONLY if his father is Malaysian or if his parents has been permanent residents of the country on his birth.
Filipino has mixed blood thats why... filipino japanese mexican are mixed blood long time ago...my grandma looks like japanese even if she's not japanese...my grandma is full filipino.. And she has white skin like japanese....so stop judging about their last name cuz u dont know everything about them... Mind ur own business...
are you still there now, don't forget your comment, now see how your national team is in qualifying for the 2026 world cup... only the last rank in the group🤣🤣
And we have a half blood player grade A than your national team half blood, and now our players can speak Indonesian and English better, and sing the national anthem well, unlike your players
