Just take to plates apart and clean them to know 100% that there is no debris or scale left, thats why its made in that way. Also maybe don’t involve 20 people and i can only imagine the chemical cleaner was poured immediately down the drain and onto the local river 👍👍 Great job 👏🏻
Hope i was there for safety... practice safety use K Y T or even PPE the safety engineer must look through the safety of the worker: substandard some have some haven't i saw a guy at the top of the pipeline other no safety shoes, no hard cup some have shoes but not intended for work please next time you do think SAFETY or contact me for training

Sorry, but for me It was not a maintenance work is just a chemical clean. I have been working with many heat exchanger in petrochemical plants.
