Salaries are unattractive in the WNBA, which actually repels good players, whereas every little boy dreams of being an NBA player for the fame, the money and the prestige. See where this is going? Of course the NBA is going to be better. The difference in money invested between the NBA and the WNBA makes it impossible for it to be otherwise.

Girls are still being pushed to dance, do feminine things, etc. How many little girls do you see on a court just balling? How many boys? This dynamic is slowly changing, but it takes time. Maybe even decades. So what? Women have caught up slowly in other sports already (swimming, running, even soccer-). What makes you think it won't be the case for basketball eventually?
