I would also like to know what Greg akshar asked below. What size staples do you recommend? Wide crown, length, etc... Thanks for the video it's very helpful.
We use a pneumatic stapler so we are able to use 3/8" staples. If you're using a hand powered stapler, 1/4" would probably be a little easier to manage. The 3/8" penetrates a little deeper obviously so the pneumatic stapler comes in very handy for those. Hope this helps!
I have rips in my current golf cart seats. Is it ok to just cover over them? Are the new covers thick enough that I won’t be able to tell there are rips beneath? Thanks!
The heat gun is a useful tool for getting the material to stretch if needed. It's not necessary but it definitely can be helpful to make the material easier to wrap around some of the areas of the seat!

Should I remove the existing original cover?
that's personal preference. You can take the old one off or just cover it up with the new one!
If your old cover has a rip will it show through if you don't take the old cover off?
@@TheAkhor I think that may depend on how thick the rip is. My guess is it wouldn't be noticeable through the new cover!
