- Possibly the oldest video interview with Colin Firth, on the great Milos Forman, on playing the naughty, too charming and dangerous Vicomte de Valmont and the beautiful cast of Valmont (Meg Tilly, Annette Bening, H. Thomas)
Valmont (1990), directed by Milos Forman, based on the book Liaisons Dangereuses. premiered the same year as the film Dangerous Liaisons, which was widely promoted.
October 1989, Cannes.
He was and still is just perfect, never seen a more beautiful and charming man
Fascinating to see these actors from when they weren’t as well known being interviewed
Apparently when he did this interview he had no idea of his eventual interpretation of Fitzwilliam Darcy…talk about smoldering. Fun to see him this young, but man, has he grown.
His vocabulary is vast than Oxford dictionary

It apparently took place around the time he had appeared in the Hallmark Hall of Fame made-for-TV movie, "Camille". Camille used to be on YT, but it's been taken down. 😢

Both films are based on the same original novel!!
Actually when they send script to Miloš Forman he thought that they changed it from the novel but then he realized that he actually remembers it wrong. Miloš said to the makers of movie that he will do the movie but the way he remembers it so it’s in some ways different
