Good idea. There does seem to be a ton of reporting so I hope it's true but you don't want to be the "Why Dean Ambrose isn't leaving WWE. Why? Here's why" guy lol.
The problem lies with the lack of appreciation for the “main event” style of wrestling. By that I mean classic heavyweight wrestling. Everyone wants to see work rate above everything else, and that’s fine but it gets so dull if every match has to be faster and faster and faster. Main event style matches are most prominent in the 80s and 90s, you would have the smaller guys go on first and do the flippy stuff and then the bigger guys would go on later and have the harder fights. The main event style it’s all about delivering big moves and selling those moves and selling those moves in favor of storytelling and *INTENSE* drama. John Cena, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Rock, Stone Cold are all masters of main event style. In my opinion Hangman vs. Chris Jericho was a great main event style match. If you want to see the master class of main event style matches, Watch Roman Resigns versus Brock Lesnar from SummerSlam 2018. The whole match is classic main event style from start to finish, it starts off at 1000 miles an hour, but not in the indie spot fest way, Roman and Brock are basically trading finishers and other big moves the entire match. The drama spikes when Strowman attempts to cash in. Heavy relief at the end when Roman is finally able to defeat the final boss of WWE no strings attached. It’s not a technical masterpiece, it’s not a spot fest (not that there’s anything wrong with it being either of those things), but it perfectly gets across the main event style. Big moves, lots of selling, intense drama.
This is when The Long Tem Storytelling of Kenny Omega and Hangman begun..... Kenny Omega was not the same guy as he used to be in NJPW and Hangman Page lost his first World championship match against Jericho which lead to Drunk Hangman Page that we all love.... I'm so excited for Kenny vs Hangman match at ALL OUT

Can we just appreciate how Chris Jericho is the biggest foil in AEW? -He started the downfall of Hangman in his story -Is the mentor/tutor/friend/almost father figure of Sammy Guevara -Orange Cassidy started to be "serius" after his feud with Jericho -MJF created a faction because of Jericho
He and the Inner Circle were also the foil to The Elite, and he was a great rival to Jon Moxley, credible and hated enough to give Mox's championship run a legitimate start. And don't forget early on when he was champion, he let Scorpio Sky pin him in a tag match, instead of letting Sammy get pinned. This is the true genius of Chris Jericho. He doesn't need a title to be great. His status as a legend is already big enough to match a championship. Both Stadium Stampedes and Blood and Guts had him in the main event without any titles, and he didn't need to win to still maintain his momentum.
Man, I remember when AEW was announced. I hadn't watched wrestling since 2014 and never even heard of the All In show. After that AEW press conference I watched All In. It felt like I was watching a wrestling show from the late 90's. I was instantly hooked. I'm a proud fan that's watched everything AEW has done. The growth they've had in two years is just insane. Not only in bringing in big names like Jericho, Santana & Ortiz, Kenny Omega, Cody and The Bucks, but also ALL the new (to me) talent they're building up. Like Sammy Guevara, Hangman, Jungle Boy, MJF, Darby, Britt Baker, etc. Also, I hear they might sign a Dragon and a Punk? AEW is about to explode even more!

As a day 1 aew fan I knew this was going to be a make or break ppv cause all in was special but people thought it was a 1 time lucky ppv but All out just showed you never bet against the elite‼️‼️‼️
My favourite match from this PPV was THAT ladder match between the Young Bucks and the Lucha Bros. I’ll never forget THAT Canadian Destroyer through the table!

I think this PPV really helped AEW in how to pace their shows. Like on paper, having the matches getting bigger and bigger as the show goes on makes sense, but the crowd gets burned out. Which is what happened here with the ladder match between the Lucha Bros and the Bucks, which effected the main even badly imo. Now AEW shows are laid out in such a unique way, with the first match of the night often being the co-main event, and it keeps the momentum so high throughout the show.
I love when the AEW haters say there is no long term story telling in AEW because they are by far the best company in the world when it comes to telling long term storylines.

The best thing about aew is its fresh Two years ago jericho was champ then mox came and jericho left the title scene and after carrying gold through out the most of pandemic era omega came and now he is about to pass the torch to adam page I see both omega and moxley winning aew championship multiple times but aew somehow manages to stay fresh And the amount of dream matches in aew is endless

AEW will tell the story they’ve planned on telling. Hangman winning at All Out wasn’t always guaranteed, even before the rumors of those guys coming in.
@@shivamsingh-lb1mg The story is that Dark Order (real friends) were what Hangman was missing to get his confidence back, so they will probably be the ones who win the match for Page I think. Then at the PPV they can either win or lose, it would make sense both ways, but Page should 100% win the match and I think that he will. Then they can debut Punk after the Main Event and after Hangman does a speech and leaves the ring, that way it's still important to the show and doesn't take away from Hangman's big moment.
I'm just finding your channel so I don't know exactly your opinion on Spears. Anyways, I attended the dynamite in Cleveland January 29th before the pandemic. I didn't really have an opinion about Shawn Spears cuz I never watched WWE, all their talent that came to AEW is all new for me. Anyways, Spears was in a tag match that would air on dark, and I give the guy alot of credit because for me it was the most entertaining match of the night. Spears was super charismatic.

Wow ... Pac replaces Moxley in his first AEW All Out 2019 and beat one of the best AEW's top main guy Omega in a match that lasted longer than 5 minutes. And then in 2021 there's Karrion Kross, the NXT badass champion that dominated and beat just about all the top stars in NXT, and in his first WWE RaW debut he loses to a fruit roll-up in a 2 minute match with Jeff Hardy. Lol ... Amazing what AEW has become.
Y'know, this just highlights why the WWE booking of Kross and Lee is so goddamn blinkered. When Page and Omega lost, they lost at the big stage, after a grueling matches, against top-tier opponents. Kross and Lee lost in 2-5 minutes. Lee lost to a champion, sure, but Kross lost to Jeff Hardy, who had been booked as a joke for the past few months/years. There is zero momentum built, zero credibility established, zero interesting storylines people want to follow.

But I don't want hangman to loose again he has suffered enough as a character. Building him up again as a credible threat would be a uphill battle. I don't want him to loose just because "plans change".
AEW will tell the story they’ve planned on telling. Hangman winning at All Out wasn’t always guaranteed, even before the rumors of those guys coming in.

@@shivamsingh-lb1mg The story is that Dark Order (real friends) were what Hangman was missing to get his confidence back, so they will probably be the ones who win the match for Page I think. Then at the PPV they can either win or lose, it would make sense both ways, but Page should 100% win the match and I think that he will. Then they can debut Punk after the Main Event and after Hangman does a speech and leaves the ring, that way it's still important to the show and doesn't take away from Hangman's big moment.

I'm just finding your channel so I don't know exactly your opinion on Spears. Anyways, I attended the dynamite in Cleveland January 29th before the pandemic. I didn't really have an opinion about Shawn Spears cuz I never watched WWE, all their talent that came to AEW is all new for me. Anyways, Spears was in a tag match that would air on dark, and I give the guy alot of credit because for me it was the most entertaining match of the night. Spears was super charismatic.

Wow ... Pac replaces Moxley in his first AEW All Out 2019 and beat one of the best AEW's top main guy Omega in a match that lasted longer than 5 minutes. And then in 2021 there's Karrion Kross, the NXT badass champion that dominated and beat just about all the top stars in NXT, and in his first WWE RaW debut he loses to a fruit roll-up in a 2 minute match with Jeff Hardy. Lol ... Amazing what AEW has become.

Y'know, this just highlights why the WWE booking of Kross and Lee is so goddamn blinkered. When Page and Omega lost, they lost at the big stage, after a grueling matches, against top-tier opponents.
Kross and Lee lost in 2-5 minutes. Lee lost to a champion, sure, but Kross lost to Jeff Hardy, who had been booked as a joke for the past few months/years. There is zero momentum built, zero credibility established, zero interesting storylines people want to follow.
I still go back to watch Shida vs. Riho to this day. I love that match so much.
