The scg003 is built by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, it is nominally a gt3 car. It is built to gt3 regulations, but it can't be homologated as a gt3 car because they haven't built the required number of road cars. It raced in series like the VLN or creventic, that have special classes for non-homologated cars.
Congratulations, on the 2m views. Dave, your comments on the appeal of open-wheel racing is spot-on. I am a fan of open-wheel. But the appeal today is only for older fans that started watching Indy/F1 in the 70's and the 80's. The appeal went down for many reasons. But I will sum it up. It was the Indy split that impacted IndyCar. F1, is due to the high cost of attending races. The people that do attend the race are not serious spectators.
