Varmaji, you are the descendant of Maharaja Swati Thirunal and Balamuralikrishna is in the guru parampara of Sri Tyagaraja. You learnt from BMK. So in a way Maharaja indeed met Tyagaraja. This is my humble thought.
That was an interesting comment from you. I have actually heard Balamuralikrishna ji say this on stage in public, in Chennai once! One of the many occasions when I wish I had a video camera. At that time neither Varma ji nor I imagined that something like TH-cam would be invented.

A great job in explaining the mistakes commonly made by the singers who do not know the value of sahithyam of the song because of their ignorance of language in which it is composed. A student should learn the words and their meanings from an authentic person before learning the song especially if the song is in other than their mother tongue. Well learned persons like you have to correct the mistakes or otherwise the mistakes would be passed on to the sishya kotis which will be taken as granted by the future generations.
