Custom cut and mounted up this molle insert! It was super easy and a solution I haven’t seen online in my research. The panel is the RMP from Grey Man Tactical.

I'm planning on adding one of these to my new van which I'll be picking up next month.
Adding threaded inserts would be a good option if any of the screws start stripping the plastic on the car.

Only issue is ya only have like 1/8 of an inch of plastic to fasten to so I’m not sure threaded inserts would have a place to seat just as much as the threads of a screw

It’s for mounting your high use items to an easy to get to area while overlanding/camping. People will mount first aid kits, fire extinguishers, axes etc..
