Budh(Mercury) antardasha is the last antardasha in ketu mahadasha.Last antardasha prepares the person for the upcoming mahadasha of venus,Slowly slowly mercury dominates and ketu weakens.In ketu mahadasha you may be disconnected from your siblings,your efforts to do hardwork were wasted,your brain which was working sharply during Mercury(budh) mahadasha was working only 20% during ketu mahdasha.Important Decision(Marriage,career,child birth etc...) taken during ketu mahadasha goes,wrong.During Mercury antardasha your brain again start working sharply and you will again get prepared for upcoming venus mahadasha.Th ese are general effects of ketu mahadasha,individual chart analysis is needed for more deep analysis.
Myself going through ketu MD-Shani AD.But ketu mahadasha have taught me and shown me new vision of life.I am learning and doing astrology since 2015 and this ketu mahadasha has helped me very much to get practical experience of Mahadashas.

@@cookiejar19 I can't say very much accurately with the limited details of your chart provided by you as overall we need to check every planet and nakshatra for details analysis of any kundali.
But Mercury is exalted in your 12th house and placed in its own sign(Virgo) ,also creating Laxmi Narayan yoga with Venus is good placement ,so I can say that Mercury will drastically change your life in positive way .I can guess your expenses will increases but for your good only or we can say you will start spending money automatically as Mercury will start preparing you for upcoming Venus mahadasha.but don't worry I guess to make you spend more money Mercury will provide you that money also.
But wait don't be overexcited about Venus mahadasha.Venus is your lagna lord(Tula lagna) and lord of your 8th house also, is debilitated in 12th house and having neechbhanga rajyoga with exalted Mercury in conjunction in 12th house.So overall Venus mahadasha is not that much good as in initial years of Venus mahadasha you may experience troubles as Venus is debiliated but as Venus mahadasha progresses venus debilition reduces because of neechbhanga rajyoga .I can guess that venus will give you expenses on your health but after some years of Venus mahadasha that expenses on your health issues will give you good results.
These are my observation based on very limited details of your chart provided by you,Pray maa laxmi and lord Vishnu specially during venus mahadasha to get positive results or reduce any negative effects.
Ketu in 5 th house gives you child related problem ,problem in your education, problems in love affair like break up etc..
