It's because goliathes are best against Mutal+ling combo. and plus goliaths are not that bad against hydra. at same quantity they are pretty evenly matched. and if you increase the ratio of tanks while zerg is at lair stage, you can indeed own against hydra but you can't do much thing about only-mutalisk. See how hard it is to own mutalisks with goliath at Boxer vs Savior at Mercury(IRC). even if all factory was producing goliaths, Boxer barely managed to win Savior's only mutalisk forces.
@De4sher he was aiming for a 1/1 timing push to deny the 3rd but zer0 was prepared and trapped him :| i think he overreacted a lot to the drops and just let him expand like crazy while flash sat passively. think he should have been more aggressive with his second force of goliaths :/

there comes a point where a terran has so many tanks that ground forces are irrelevant. Flash, however, was about 50 tanks short.

You can micro goliaths against Hydralisks by moving back since Goliaths have 6 range while Hydras have 5 upgraded.

이래서 저그를 상대로 빠른 메카닉 빌드는 안좋아... 테란이 팩토리 모으고 골럇 모을동안에 저그는 멀티 다 쨀수있고 러커빌드 안통해도 바로 자원째져서 회복이 빠르거든.... 차라리 바이오닉빌드 타서 무난하게 저그 압박으로 조져놓고 레이트메카닉으로 가는게 나은거같다.
