did u mention that in AO2 u can choose your player reactions after each rally?.........u can make them react either naughty or nice. If you did, sorry i must have missed it. you cant do that in AO1 as far as I am aware.
The biggest mistake they do is that they forget to make players change grips. In tennis, players have different grips for forehands and backhands and slices. And different players have different grips for each of those shots. In the game they make everyone use the same (continental/eastern) grip, which actually is not used a lot today at all. That's why the shot strokes look so fake...
@@cybersecurity336 really? I think even Top Spin 4 didn't do this? Not sure but I think they sorta had everyone use an Eastern forehand grip for forehands, I think..
The problem is the racket path for selected shot. On slices it will be topspin motion. And on the volleys, same problem. No one swings up on their volleys. They need to get the stroke path down for each spin. And the serves. Pro serves hit the back fence on one bounce. If they could fix that. And put a bit more emphasis on the spin chosen ( ex: slice BH bounce lower. Kick serve curves in, then bounces out and high. Volleys swing downwards. Racket path on serve varies depending on spin). These adjustments would make big difference.
@@leolionroarrrrrrr5509 yeah agreed. The physics in these modern games is just mind-bogglingly unrealistic. Gosh when will there ever be a good looking tennis video game..

Actually, if you ask about created players in Career Mode. If you create/download a player they should be added to your career and depending on their ratings they will be put accordingly in the Rankings
AO2 is broken. 8 difficulties. On easiest you cant miss and on 2 you miss constantly. The reason this is is bc they make the gameplay, timing, harder as you move up in lieu of actually making the AI smarter. Terrible way to make a game more difficult . AO1 was the same but I progressed to difficulty 5 and was still having fun. TWT focuses on position for a good shot and timing 2nd. I dont like this but am interested to see TWT2 put more simulation. Even tho topspin 4 is still the best tennis sim, TWT1 has the only semi working volley system. So kudos for finally making that work, sorta. Keep playing topspin 4 till TWT2 and we'll see
Going to get AO Tennis 1 for the time being, until the price goes down for AO tennis 2 because they are both the same game with AO tennis 2 only having slightly updated visuals and a better career mode so it doesn’t really make much of a difference.
@LV I think that’s a good idea. I tried AO Tennis and AO Tennis 2 and the gameplay is mostly similar though AO Tennis 2 has better animation and character models
I read in review you use both analog sticks in AO TENNIS 2. How fluid does it feel compared to tennis world tour? I am so glad AO tennis 2 is $40 US and plan to preorder it. I am selling TWT for $12 to amazon which is better than keeping game or trade in at box store for $6. I bought TWT at launch to support a tennis game I desperately wanted on PS4. I regret getting at all let alone at $60. I never finished a career.
Oh my goodness right! That game absolutely SUCKED! I pre-ordered it and regretted it and I too never finished the career mode. Top spin 4 for life!!!! (Or until they finally come out with a game that's as good)
Mr. Brown then they had the nerve to rebrand the game later on at $40 from the original special edition that was 70 or$80. We were the geni pigs who paid $60 for a game with worth $20. If they made another tennis world tour 2 I would never buy It. At least AO tennis 1 was bad at launch but they continued to support it.
Apart from the lack of licence of some top players and courts overall is a decent virtual game of tennis. The sounds of players, endorsements makes it so realistic and playing in greater than pro level id prefer without any aim marks or stamina levels showing it makes you feel you can control a real time tennis player on the tv .. The shots are pretty accurate, the physic and parabol of the ball trajectories are quite spot on as well .. I was quite impressed with this game more than expectations.
