This week I'm getting my homemade camping trailer AKA "Trailer Swift" ready for her first camping trip. I decided to build a custom kayak rack to the top of the rooftop tent, so I can haul my Hobie PA14 with me when I go on solo camping adventures. That rig is looking sweet. I might drag along a door mat or something to put on the edge of the RTT. It will protect the tent, the bottom of your kayak and the kayak will be less likely to slip while you manoeuver it around.

I have 4 kayak carts and just made them all myself. A lot cheaper. Got the tires at Harbor Freight and the rest was scrap metal and I also have some made of PVC
