I dunno if anyone has let you guys know, but this arc is based on the Light Novel "Sasuke Retsuden". There are three novels: Kakashi Retsuden, Sasuke Retsuden, and Naruto Retsuden. For some reason, they only adapted the Sasuke arc. The Kakashi arc comes first, then Sasuke's, and then Naruto's, but all three happen almost at the same time. I wish the Kakashi one was adapted fully instead of just parts of it. That one was cool!
No to be honest this shouldn't even have been adapted. Naruto fanboys started hating on boruto because of "Dinossaurs" but they don't realize this came from naruto lol
