I love hearing God talk to me through Graham like this. I only wish the music was not as loud since I find I have to concentrate on hearing the words being spoken... which makes it less relaxing than I think it was intended to be.

David did experience the spirit of God and when he would worship God with music it would come and comfort Saul. But it was not dwelling in him. This did not happen until pentecost in the the New Testament. So in the Old Testament people could feel the anointing because it would come on people but then it would leave, that’s why Saul would be at peace when David would worship the lord in music. Today the Holy Spirit does not come and go, he is always present inside of us. Your music does not do that. People can feel the music but it does not heal you. This is not the Holy Spirit. It is another spirit. It causes emotions to be trusted not God. He does not use this way of being intimate. He is already intimate with you. He is in you and he can’t get any closer. This does not have an anointing on it like the Old Testament. The problem is the style of music you are playing. It is no different than the New Age music that is put out today. It has a hypnotizing effect on people because it puts you in a altered state of consciousness. It is the same as transcendental meditation. It should not be used for worship. It has a rhythm that plays the same sound over and over. This is what the new age uses as a mantra for the mind to meditate. Even reading is the same as listening to words and music. It uses the subconscious mind. So when people are listening to your music they are not worshiping in the conscious mind. This is not worship because it is not a conscious act. Contemporary music today does the same thing. The style of music is repeating over and over in the rhythm like a mantra and puts you in an altered state of consciousness. It is hypnotizing to the mind.The meditation in the Bible is different. It teaches us to meditate on the word which means to think about what the scripture is saying in context. So that we can know what God is telling us. We are not to use it as a written prayer to listen to. That puts our conscious mind into the subconscious mind. We go in and out of the subconscious mind a lot of the time during the day. Like driving when we are doing it by habit and not thinking , listening, reading, watching tv. But our conscious mind either thinks, speaks, or sings etc. it is a conscious act. Listening to music and reading scripture while listening to music is not and is not biblical worship. Please don’t be offended I am not trying to judge your heart I know you love the lord by what you say but deception is all around us and we need to be aware of how the enemy comes to deceive and wants us to do things his way . That is why we need to know what the scripture means. There is way too much heresy in the church and I know first hand. I am just sharing by personal experience. Please try to see and understand what I am saying. Soaking music is not called soaking because of the name, it is by the style and the rhythm of music. Singing Hymns to the lord is different. The music was so loud that I had to strain my ears to hear the speaker ,Graham Cooke. The music was distracting and most of all annoying; it is not needed! In short, it spoiled the listening of the given message. Suggestion: avoid the accompanying music!

But our conscious mind either thinks, speaks, or sings etc. it is a conscious act. Listening to music and reading scripture while listening to music is not and is not biblical worship. Please don’t be offended I am not trying to judge your heart I know you love the lord by what you say but deception is all around us and we need to be aware of how the enemy comes to deceive and wants us to do things his way . That is why we need to know what the scripture means. There is way too much heresy in the church and I know first hand. I am just sharing by personal experience. Please try to see and understand what I am saying. Soaking music is not called soaking because of the name, it is by the style and the rhythm of music. Singing Hymns to the lord is different. The music was so loud that I had to strain my ears to hear the speaker ,Graham Cooke. The music was distracting and most of all annoying; it is not needed! In short, it spoiled the listening of the given message. Suggestion: avoid the accompanying music!
