Satan is one of those rare and special bands that always deliver excellence. What can i say, their discography is perfect and they nailed again with this. Fantastic album from start to finish, just as the other four!
Excellent album and Satan sounds very good and the truth is that he told me a great impression ... Heavy Metal of great manufacture and of the old school .... not everything is Saxon, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest .. !!
The comeback trilogy is complete and Once again the Amazing guitar duo of Russ Tippins Steve Ramsey and that polished progressive metal rhythm section with Sean Taylor and Graeme English then add Brian Ross on vocals and the cd equals metal master piece one for the ages, this is an all star lineup of virtuous musicians!!!

NWOBHM= NEW Wave of British Heavy Metal. It's no longer new. People get too caught up in splitting hairs and wanting to create subgenres of subgenres. This style of music is just classic heavy metal. Straight out of the 80's.
i mean, the NWOBHM is a specific term with a specific meaning-- not as much a coherent genre, because it included bands with very disparate sounds from one another (Witchfinder General vs Satan vs Fist vs Venom vs the debut Def Leppard album vs some of the really poppy/AOR type stuff), but more referring to a very specific time period from '78 to '85 where that specific metal scene as observed by Sounds existed
NWOBHM ended. As others pointed out, it refers to the specific period of multiple heavy mental bands resurfacing in England in the 70s-80s. So you can't make NWOBHM, you can make Heavy Metal.

Fans of Maiden, Cirith Ungol, Ufo, Slayer, fk, early Fates Warning, Omen, Leathrwolf, power metal, neo classical, maybe even some Rush or Yes, this band has all them skills.

i m a french fan.i was living in london in 1984,i was eighteen.one night i went to see them at the dingwall.a pub.near candemlock .waiting for the show i was drincking a beer .next to my table five guys with beer to.they get up and went on the scene.they where the band i was comin for...they start to play "trial by fire"and i was headbanging during one hour.my swet was flowing on my leather jacket. sweet memory..

like what I hear, that's some good heavy music that mixes interesting varied riffings and 80's vocals but hey how the heck could these guys name their band satan, and it was the 80's?
and its cool they still hold the same line-up to this day , at least for the recording of this record, unlike many reformed oldies counting just one, two or even none of original members

I saw them on this tour. Russ was having technical trouble playing the intro to Doomsday Clock so he just went straight for the heavy part.
I was teenage fan of the first album Court in the act in the eighties.
It will be the same for this one now.
