And, will tell Believers , YOU NEED TO MOVE OR I COULD NOT LIVE HERE WHERE YOU LIVE , actually hurting the feelings of a true Christian family and don't even know it ! This is one of the ways Arnold FELL SHORT in his teaching as well as other good preachers ! Once, when he was young he said " If a person bothers u , then decked them " ! I wrote him and said u are almost 7 ft tall , wt. 250 or so , x-marine , but your advice is wrong in 2 ways and he never said it again ! A preacher needs of course to really KNOW the WORD as ARNOLD DID, but also realize all the people who are NOT just like them needs to be in their minds on how they hear them ! Arnold awakened me, with the help of the Holy Spirit , at 60yrs old to finally start understanding the Bible ! I'm 85 now and very thankful for Arnold's teaching ! I frequently go back and listen to him on the END time parts for they are the hardest to understand, I think !
Arnold STRESSES the need to fully understand the Word , but maybe should have soften it a little to whatever level the Holy Spirit HELPS A PERSON TO LEARN . I have a sister who thinks " Just Trust in the Lord " because she has difficulty learning to a higher level . That's good in many ways for her , but can she get the 6 and 7 trump right ? God says He gives us a sound mind , but things of this life can destroy some of it . Good preachers MUST take this into account ! Arnold was a good DI in the CORPS, BUT THE KIDS HE TAUGHT WERE ALREADY CULLED mind-wise before allowing to go further in life ! ALSO, NOT all military people are Christians AND THEY ,TOO need to be reminded that being in the Military does not mean they will automatically have a seat in Heaven ! But, like Billy Graham , Arnold could reach people or awaken them to God. Graham always told them awaken by him to find a good church ! Not to say The Shepherds Chapel is not one , but TV Listeners really need to go to a church if they can find one that right ! One could still learn from Arnold even if in a church , nothing wrong with that !
