Everyone that says yes, will forever be changed & will live and be with God after this life, but also- during this life. These things are exclusive and personal & unique to each person. The results are real. David had learned that he had a loophole in the sentencing of his trial, a few decades after in prison, because of the years he was arrested during his trials, the laws hadn't officially been changed/upgraded to the newer/modern laws after he went inside- long story short, he was able to leave on a technicality after just one 25 year sentence if he decided to legally pursue/challenge the faulty ruling- he refused because he had now by this time already given his life to Christ & because of God changing him inside-out, he thought about the loss of what little peace and serenity & sense of justice the victims' families would lose if they were to know he was free and walking around on the loose- so instead he gave them the only thing that he could in the terms of loving them as himself & he gave the families their distance and comfort of knowing he remained locked up- because to the families, he was the same demon possessed monster they remembered. So he gave his life for them to have a semblance of their lives restored through time and healing, one of the mothers became very very close and began to know the transformed, Christ-filled him & she forgave him, loved him, wrote back and forth, and had phone calls with him for years, she gave her own life to Christ & they became the closest of friends and support for each other. They were even planning to tell the others that all is possible through Jesus & by God's power and grace- he can redeem anything and anybody and heal any conditions- even in the most severe cases such as theirs. They never got to meet face to face, because David refused to make it a public exploit and spectacle on tv cameras for the joint visit- so he called it off and I believe the lady died shortly after, maybe from a broken heart- only God knows. Point being, God did it all, and we cannot understand any of it, until it becomes personal and through the mind of Christ that people receive from this surrender to God, people can begin to understand things for the first time in a supernatural new way- by God's given, Holy Spirit, which the saved person retain's until the return of Christ- this is His "down-payment" so to speak for the believer to console in Spiritual union/connection to them until they actually join with Christ physically upon His return to Earth. It's really a beautiful and very personal love story between Our creator and us, and everyone who experiences God's Love, is changed and made a new creation forever- in that experience. That's the Power of God's love people know Christ intimately with those encounters and it can be repeated over and over, infinity- with every various & different person from every way of life, none too big or too bad or too small. It doesn't matter who they are or what they did. They all are forever changed, forever Know Christ and are forever experiencing the knowing of God, the knowing of God's love, the intimacy with the creator of themselves & that is what The Bible calls, The Mystery of God, His saving love & Grace... the real gift with real, lasting change & peace attached to it- with a real knowledge and presence of The ONE who made you, with you always, because GREATER is HE that is in them, than the spirit of the enemy of us all that is in the world. I have high regard for what David Berkowitz has done with his life since giving his life to Christ. Not once have I ever gotten the idea or thought that any of what he has done since turning his life over to Christ is anything other than being done with purity of heart. In eternity, David Berkowitz is going to be remembered in Heaven as one of the great saints because he allowed God to use him as a vessel even when most people 'wrote him off'. Every time I have ever listened to him speak about his life since coming to Christ, I come away encouraged and uplifted. Keep up the good work David! I remember that dark period back in the 70s when I was a child and everybody was scared of him before he was caught. My Dad wouldn't let my Sister out at all. I have grown now and to see this Man transform for the good in Jesus' name is a wonderful thing. I can see the sincerity in his eyes that he just wants to help. He knows he's not getting out. This is all he can do, maybe he helped someone who he touched spiritually and helped change someone who was about to hurt one of us in the real world. If he did that, he is a Son of the Lord doing good. Not the son of Sam that he was. I didn't forget reading the paper or news on tv about those innocent victims who are dead now for almost 40 years that he killed. I pray the victims family and ultimately the good Lord will Bless his Soul for forgiveness when his true day of judgment reaches. Looking at him, I think it has. I’m crying every time I see any one of his testimonies. It’s not sorrow, it must be God’s work or something (I’ve been saved once, many years ago, but I’ve strayed from the path and I’ve got anorexia and ptsd as well as an addiction). Sure we can develop medicines to bring relief from disease, create coping mechanisms for mental illness, but these things will always be with us and on our own strength, we're helpless and only a "not quite", but in Jesus' name we are made whole and are capable of having peace as David does. Not only is this song such a beautiful reminder of God's love for us, far beyond what even any Christian such as myself can offer, I believe that just listening to music (not just Christian) with an actual message and something to say is far better than most rap, R&B, and pop that's out in main stream music today.
This is where it's at guys. We can Lose everything that ties us to this earth including our humanity and still have overwhelming joy, peace and a purpose. He reminds me of my father and his best friend. My father was a fiend, but everybody thought he was this amazing Christian man because he used to preach and because of his ministry. He shouldn’t be allowed to talk to anybody other that the other inmates and the guards and the police nor should he be filmed nor be broadcasted. The BTK killer got inspiration by Son of Sam when he was killing people. That alone should tell us what’s wrong about making serial killers famous. Imagine how many wolves in sheep’s clothing the Son of Sam is influencing now - people who are thought of as saints by their church, people like Son of Sam, who first say “the devil made me do it” and now say “the devil made me do it but I’m a Christian now so listen to me”! Locking away serial killers is not enough, they shouldn’t be allowed to influence anyone! When good gullible people watch Son of Sam preaching they think, “great, another person saved, let’s tell the world”, but when psychopaths watch him preach they think, “great, I can do whatever I want”.

So he gave his life for them to have a semblance of their lives restored through time and healing, one of the mothers became very very close and began to know the transformed, Christ-filled him & she forgave him, loved him, wrote back and forth, and had phone calls with him for years, she gave her own life to Christ & they became the closest of friends and support for each other. They were even planning to tell the others that all is possible through Jesus & by God's power and grace- he can redeem anything and anybody and heal any conditions- even in the most severe cases such as theirs. They never got to meet face to face, because David refused to make it a public exploit and spectacle on tv cameras for the joint visit- so he called it off and I believe the lady died shortly after, maybe from a broken heart- only God knows. Point being, God did it all, and we cannot understand any of it, until it becomes personal and through the mind of Christ that people receive from this surrender to God, people can begin to understand things for the first time in a supernatural new way- by God's given, Holy Spirit, which the saved person retain's until the return of Christ- this is His "down-payment" so to speak for the believer to console in Spiritual union/connection to them until they actually join with Christ physically upon His return to Earth. It's really a beautiful and very personal love story between Our creator and us, and everyone who experiences God's Love, is changed and made a new creation forever- in that experience. That's the Power of God's love people know Christ intimately with those encounters and it can be repeated over and over, infinity- with every various & different person from every way of life, none too big or too bad or too small. It doesn't matter who they are or what they did. They all are forever changed, forever Know Christ and are forever experiencing the knowing of God, the knowing of God's love, the intimacy with the creator of themselves & that is what The Bible calls, The Mystery of God, His saving love & Grace... the real gift with real, lasting change & peace attached to it- with a real knowledge and presence of The ONE who made you, with you always, because GREATER is HE that is in them, than the spirit of the enemy of us all that is in the world. That is what happened to David & all who come to believe and give their life to Christ and come to know Him. It's the free gift that none of us deserve- and you'd truly be surprised to just some of the most greatest stories ever told are from those who have encountered and know The ONE TRUE LIVING GOD, & Jesus Christ xo

I'm a believer in Christ also.anyway I got his DC number and where he was in prison and I write him from time to time encouraging him in the Lord. And he does that for me also sends me scriptures. Even if you're not a Christian, I'd really encourage ya'll to listen to "Nobody" by Casting Crowns! It's so powerful and relates to David's story here. Apart from Christ, we're truly broken and vulnerable to all the horrors of this world, demons are very real as shown in his testimony. It's because we're created in the image of God that we are capable of some level of good, but as Jesus said "apart from me you can do nothing". Sure we can develop medicines to bring relief from disease, create coping mechanisms for mental illness, but these things will always be with us and on our own strength, we're helpless and only a "not quite", but in Jesus' name we are made whole and are capable of having peace as David does. Not only is this song such a beautiful reminder of God's love for us, far beyond what even any Christian such as myself can offer, I believe that just listening to music (not just Christian) with an actual message and something to say is far better than most rap, R&B, and pop that's out in main stream music today.

Locking away serial killers is not enough, they shouldn’t be allowed to influence anyone! That is historical fact; (seriously look into the Shroud of Turin at Shroud.com) There is more evidence for the existence of Jesus than there is for Julius Caesar. Actual spirituality is distinct from a lot of things including Spiritualism, but many don't know that. People read Harry Potter type books, thinking the titillation of delving into witchcraft harmless but the long term effects are telling. Religion teaches that the afterlife exists, that eternity is populated with real spiritual beings. I find it curious that pop culture disdains religion, yet gluts itself on demonic fantasy. I really wish he would tell the truth about the cult and all the other killers and exactly what was going on. He knows everything. It’s sad that Maurice Terry died without peace in his heart because he couldn’t expose the truth. Maurice gave up his life investigating and reached out to David many times for the truth so he can bring justice to all the victims but no one believed Maurice and David won’t open his mouth. It’s really sad. If David really wants to change he should open his mouth about other killers and the satanic cults.
