This is awesome! I have been bookbinding for a bit and really want to try using faux leather since i am not interested in using animal leathers. Do you remember where you got this faux leather or the brand? I was also curious about the tool you used at about 13:19 to help flatten the faux leather to the book board was called? If you don’t mind sharing, any recommendations would be fantastic!
Thanks for watching! ❤ Sorry for the way late reply! I got this faux leather at JoAnns Fabric and Craft Store. In my area they are amazing with their in store supply. I don’t have the brand but it’s a beautiful stretchy fabric backed faux (super soft to the touch!). Oh the my brayer tool, I had gotten that to help with my Cricut cuts and found it was a great help in working on the cover! I got this really inexpensive 4” rubber brayer off of Amazon for $6.99.
Hi there! Awesome! Yes I use the Lineco PVA glue (100%) on this faux leather to attach it to the board. The material has a fabric backing already so it grabs the glue nicely. This particular faux leather is super soft and not too thick but I've also used the same PVA on other thicker faux leather and it works great!
Your husband’s artwork looks awesome on the cover! I like how the spine turned out too. Thank you for sharing 😍
Beautiful work!
Really cool skill right there
Well done 👍

Could you please move the cuffs of your sweater away from your hands. It is very off-putting.
