One of the very few rare people to come from The Voice UK and actually be genuinely awesome. Also has since released some great music which is severely underrated. Ruti should be a huge star by now, much more than she already is. She deserves it. More than anyone. Such a unique and powerful voice. 100% gets my vote.

My mother was a huge Tom Jones fan. I am 67 years old and I was listening to him when I was about 15 and watched my mom sit in front of the tv and swoon over him every time his show aired. Seems like forever ago and yesterday at the same time. He still has it.
Literally everything about Ruti made me smile through the whole video… She is so humble, authentic, pure, she matured through the show and still has this innocence in her face. And her voice - incredible. Touching. Deep.

n the process of that season, she went from "ok" to "great". with increased self confidence and literally expert coaching her singing improved a great step. by the finals, her singing, near as i could tell, was absolutely on point without a single error. she killed it by that point, both with, and without, Sir Tom.
