This time I had the opportunity to see one of the Renggong Sinar Muda Sultan Group horses led by the Adang bah, which had not performed for four months due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
I could watch from the beginning of the preparation for going to the stage and I could also see the jenggong horse jockeys wearing horse clothes to make them look manly and beautiful while dancing.
Renggong Horse is an Indonesian art from Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency, West Java Province. Renggong horse is a horse that dances or dances and is decorated in such a way that it looks very handsome besides dancing, the tenuous horse can also be parried or demonstrated or can be said to be a horse-drawn attraction with a skilled handler. and don't want to wake up before disawer.
Renggong Horse is usually used in the framework of weddings, circumcisions / circumcisions and other major events in the Regency of Sumedang. The procession of the genggong horse is never devoid of fans either from children, adolescents or parents where there is an event, there is sure to be the public watching and some are dancing, not a few who are possessed or possessed.
Music Renggong horse is known as the art of the renggong horse which consists of drums, drum, bonang, kecrek, gong, and most importantly trumpets and sinden. The song of the renggong horse which is very popular in every show includes bangbung hideung, swinging udder, puspa leaf, jodo base, tumila in boxing and much more. with unique music, everything will be carried away, especially if the trumpet horse trumpet skill can reach the heart.
