I created a LSDV model and the reviewers asked me to make robustness analysis before running the model because of the bias. What does it mean robustness check for panel data or LSDV model??
Hi! Before running the panel data analysis, I generated the descriptive statistic and correlation matrix, and I found a multicollinearity problem. Is it correct that I fix the multicollinearity problem first, test the the unit root and then run the panel data analysis. Thank you!
@@statisticalmodelsforsocialscie Thank you so much! I know there will be unit root tests for panel data (not ADF). So after fixing multicolinearity by VIF, should I run the Panel Unit Root test instead of ADF. Thanks a lot!

While I regressed my data in Eviews, applying the model GDP = β1 + β2 FDI + β3 ODA + u. I received the error message GDP is not defined. How to fix this error so I can get the regression result of the above model? Thks.

Hi sir, how do I find the serial correlation LM test? and White test for heteroscedasticity? Cause I cant find it in residual diagnostic
7:04 why are you not controlling for time fixed effects as well?

I am running a panel data regression analysis and I am using the random effect. After that what do I do next? do I have to run a causality test?
*wath you have to do next depend of the objective of your study but causality is mostly run in case of Var or ARDL*

*yes is correct but you should better use the Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) to analyse multicolinearity*
*Here's the link to watch the video on VIF* th-cam.com/video/teDP1k40lhM/w-d-xo.html

After analyzing the OLS results, do we need to proceed the diagnostic tests?
*yes of course, like i did in the video*
@@statisticalmodelsforsocialscie Thanks for your reply, could you please show the link, coz I am not sure which one include the diagnostic test~
@@tingyang4467 *diagnostic tests include normality, heteroskedasticity, and autocorrelation of error terms*
@@statisticalmodelsforsocialscie Thank you! if there are problems being detected, any further remedies needed to follow up?

*maybe variables name in you Eviews Work file is not de same name you type*
Very helpful and detailed explanation. See also Professor Pavlos - Econometrics / Eviews.
*thanks prof.,i took note*
1: sir how to convert skewed data into normal. I have tried to transformd the data but it's not working.
2: should we directly run GLS
it's perfect the video, it really helps me
*good*
really good job
*thanks*
IN MEDIATING VARIABLE HOW TO DEAL IT IN LEAST SQUARE TEST
Would be better, still thanks a lot.
*ok , cool*
