What might go over looked is that if you pay close attention, he doesn't celebrate his TD's when it's a blowout and they're playing from behind. Meanwhile, we had Robby Anderson yelling at the camera "vote me to the probowl". It's a small sign that the kid gets it. Looking forward to watching him grow on this team

@@jordanboyd7383 Give Robby his flowers for making it but you got to look at the context of when he did that, it was during a losing game near the end of a lost season. Also by that point, he was no longer a rookie but on a contract year. Showboating during a losing effort in a lost year talking about your own individual accomplishments is not a good look on the ultimate team sport

@@GAMJ30 Nothing wrong with celebrating, but a player should be aware of circumstances. One thing to celebrate an early TD or a go-ahead TD, it's another thing to be blown out late in the season, with double digit loses, yelling at the camera to be voted to the probowl...but to each their own. Doesn't bode well for team chemistry IMHO

Elijah Moore is an amazing talent. He has speed, hands, and an amazing route running ability. As far as I am concerned, he is going to be the next all time great Jets receiver.

Mims was horrible last season, crowder is a free agent and is most likely leaving, berrios is great as your 4th string, Corey davis is a good number 2 but he dropped a ton of passes this season, and moore is pretty good so they still do need another wr and a tight end to run their scheme effectively

Anyone think this kid is a better prospect than Garrett Wilson? He'll have his work cut out for him with all the weapons they've acquired but if he gets similar touch volume as his counterpart, I see his sheer explosiveness producing more. Excited for his development, just needs to build rapport with his quarterback (the backups targeted him significantly more) and stay healthy for once.
Not saying he's Tyreek Hill but Moore may be the closest comp to him when you consider their stature, bulldog competitiveness, YAC, and to a lesser extent, deep route efficiency. Hope Zach Wilson has the confidence and green light to let it loose like he did at BYU.

Watching him in camps before even went to college i knew this dude would be special. Hopefully he brings the Jets a ring or go to another team.
Looks like a good fit for Shanny's offense! He may not be Deebo but, I'm all about having guys in The Bay who want to be here.
Actually think he can be better than Deebo. Kid is always open, sticky hands in contested situations, very natural, efficient athlete. When you marry strong receiver fluidity with his level of precision and explosiveness, it becomes a matchup nightmare. The caveat is getting enough looks on a loaded roster, and of course, Zach Wilson's development and their rapport. Give him 120 targets and 25 rushes, and he could he'll be a top 10 receiver in year 2 with his YAC ceiling.
Keep in mind, Deebo has had one solid year, though very elite, I would like to see him double up before we label him a true superstar because his first two were underwhelming.

Drafted him in fantasy. A league mate dropped Treylon Burks, and I wanted to consider dropping Elijah for him, so I watched rookie highlight videos for each player. Elijah Moore stands out as the better athlete - it isn't even close. Treylon is great at climbing the ladder to make some contested catches, but he lacks the separation and breakaway speed that Elijah has. After watching this video, I can't imagine the Browns NOT using him like a Deebo Samuel. Manufacture touches for him and just let him create yards with his vision and speed.

@@7SzN. you are correct. check the stats. All 3 backups had better stats across the board. I don't think Zach is very bright, there is a mental disconnect in his game. And if he keeps doing the tuck and run in that small frame of his, he'll have a short career.

He’s the closest thing to Antonio Brown profile wise, a WR where you throw out measurable preferences/prototypes and just turn on the tape and see his will to be great
