Excellent video! I know I'm 2 years late but I just bought a second hand T15, can't wait to run it on my solar power! Also, just used your eBay link to order some fan filters. Cheers!
Any luck
Is the t15 as noisy as your screwdriver 😅 👍
Are you successfully running the miner on a 110/120v outlet in the video?
Thanks for posting this, saves me taking mine apart when it arrives! Do you notice any temperature rise / fan speed increase by adding the filters? If so, is it negligible? Obviously the less amps you draw the more profitable a miner is so just wondered if you had done any watt comparison with and without the filters? Thanks. D.
There is a small increase in power consumption and fan speed with the filter and will increase as the dust is gathered. The filter is not recommended to be fitted between the fan and guard as the fan hub protrudes a bit and damages the fan guard. This was noticed at a later date. It is not recommended to put the filter on the top of the fan guard as there is a gap between the fan guard and fan, so dust will get in. A better solution is to install a high airflow HEPA filter on the 8" intake holes.
Hi Darren could you email me at info@crypto-miner.co.uk
It's regarding your last message at 7:51 but I can't reply there because of terms of service.
Hi very good video. Does it need any extractor fan to hight temperature or this is like Z9 (very low temperature?
Thanks
You should always extract heat to go outside
Hello Nadim. Thanks for this upload. I have been running a T15 since 2 years now. Now I have a problem that after the miner runs for a few minutes, the error LED blinks and the hash rate drops to 0. What could be wrong?
Are your temperatures ok? The miner might need a clean. Also try running at a much reduced speed, if that works for longer then you can start increasing the speed.
Very nice work Nadim. I wonder whether this is profitable in the UK with the power rates. - Michael
Hi, you can tweak the profitability by using existing solar or battery bank/power wall. Or you can duct ASIC in room that require heating to save on electricity bills.
The BTC value is currently low but if it increases then your earning will be higher
Not profitable in the UK at the moment
