So glad I saw this, signing up with UIIA recently and when I searched “SCAC” it’s funny how many paid services come up before the actual site. Always love your videos, Thanks!
I never had one and didn't have a problem with brokers. If you got a fleet going then it's good to pick up a code. It makes you look like you know what you're doing to direct customers.
Hello. I have a question but not on this topic though. I'm in ca and I got a warning going to vegas on not having a day/trip permit and I thought the Mc number is for that. I called nevada and rep told me I need a trip permit or I can get something when I renew my registration. She called it apportioned thru the dmv I have a non cdl box truck. Do I really need a temp permit or is the rep full of it? What do you think on the apportioned registration?

Always wanted one, never really needed it. I think it's a cool thing to brag about as an owner operator.
😂 If your customers are not asking you for it. You don’t need it. I had one for years and never needed it. Finally didn’t renew it.

I need a scac code to haul these local containers here around my town
I thought it was only for cross border freight. I'm glad that you corrected me.

Dang good video! In one of your videos you mentioned the yearly subscription fee but didn’t go into specifics. Thank you for making this one!
Thank you sir. It is quite an easy process once you find what you need. Done
Was asked for it one time, and they were surprised I had one, but I don't see the use of it.

Great info!
So, does it has any requirements or qulifications for the trucking company ?
My SCAC is 5 digits and, I assume, came from Amazon because I never signed up for one.
Once I applied, how long do I have to wait?
Great info
Thanks for the information

Never needed one. Never needed a Mc number. Guess I'm old school and still doing it free Lance. It's all a joke to make money

if you are crossing state lines with a commercial truck you need an apportioned plate. or you will have to buy a permit every single tim
@@DIYSEMI good morning, I'm up for dmv renewal soon. If I did that apportioned plate and will that be a lot more to pay?
@@geoffnavolt1970 not a lot of money. My IRP plates were just under $600 and I have a CDL box truck. Yours should be cheaper than that.
@@theflightclubworldwide9983 would that 600 be on top of what my dmv renewal fees are?
is this the same as t code?
it is not
