Glossier priming moisturiser has no essential oils, though it does have honeysuckle extract, honey extract and citric acid. It is fragrance free, you were right!
Caroline - do you have any idea what in the DeliKate moisturiser would cause a severe reaction? My whole face went bright red and I got cystic bumps on my cheeks and red blotches all over my face... I have sensitive skin, I currently use the murad hydrodynamic moisturiser, and have no problem using the medik8 crystal retinol and the DDG peel pads...

Hey ladies (and possibly gentlemen :), does anyone by any chance know - what is Caroline’s opinion on L’Occitane Immortel night restoring serum-in-oil? It’s positioned as luxe and is quite expensive, but first ingredients are water and glycerin. Worth the splurge or not? (Would not dare to address this question to Mrs. Hirons directly - pretty sure she’s busy out there doing her fabulous thing.)
Thanks for taking seriously menopause and pre-menopause side effects , women with patologies should't take hormones but If not hormones in most cases are "mind saving " , hormones influence mental health and many women due to hard Life settings suffer from mental health disorders . Again thanks for sharing you work Is much appreciated 🙏🌸🌺🌄🌄💐🧡💜💙
Hahaha! Your counter tales remind me of my friend Zena, who worked for Estée Lauder in London during the 80s. Zena was well-known for her one-liners, but this one had us rolling behind the drawers for weeks. I still laugh at it! It was a fairly slow day mid-week and we were all busy doing stocktaking,, cleaning, you know how it is. Well, this fairly agèd-looking woman wearing a fur coat and expensive clothes came in and immediately started in on Zena about how her products didn't work etc etc. Well, she picked on the wrong person. Zena stood silently, listening to her rant for a good 5 minutes. We were all inwardly writhing because the famous eyebrow was starting to raise. When the women seemed satisfied and stopped ranting, calm as a cucumber, Zena whipped out the largest counter mirror she had, stuck it in front of the women's face, leaned intimately onto the counter and whispered: "See those lines circling around your neck? Well, they're queuing up to get onto your face. Are you going to buy something to stop it or just vent your anger indefinitely?" Needless to say, the woman purchased a full skincare system from Zena that day and didn't mutter a word in reproach. The rest of us were doubled-up in awe of our colleague. Great days xo
@@CarolineHirons Zena was definitely an Old Schooler in the '80s. She used to work in Selfridges on Oxford St. when she was younger. Such great characters you meet in that line of work xox
Do you know why they're called Nickel Back? It's a Starbucks thing, they'd put their order in and always get a nickel back in change. Or something like that, always thought that was kind of cute.
Oh love. Oh honey. There ain't nothing cute about Nickelback. But my dislike of them has been earned honestly and I'm not a bandwagon jumper here. (Also, I joke a lot but I truly don't have any shade whatsoever for true, sincere fans of the band. Fandom is a magical thing and I have nothing but respect for it, even if someone else's fandoms clash with my own)
Maybe sprinkle a little organic Parthenocissus extract in with your acids? It's totes natural! 👍 (oh and also it's called Virginia Creeper and is a cousin of poison ivy). Enjoy!!
luv u so much. So I'm 50 now & my skin for some reason has decided not to want to play nice lately. Not sure if its from the stress with everything that's going on & plus now working at home & caring for a sick spouse. Need help. I wash my face in the am with a cleanser. I have been trying now Ren ready steady glow daily aha tonic. (Depends if I'm kinda grease from the night before.) This is a new step I saw blog on it & saw great reviews & of course decided to try it. Then I use naturium vitamin c serum, then moisturize ( i'm from mugwort cream) & then my SPF. At night I cleanse & use the Ren tonic again to help remove the SPF (bottle says you can use Ren tonic in the am & pm) and then wait a bit, use the versed retinol & then the verse skin soak moisturizer. My skin seemed ok & then I started to notice little bombs & some breakouts on my skin of course I did just get done with a visit from my "friend" of the month. I just feel that maybe Im doing something wrong. Help please any suggestions.
Caroline has said that if you aren't leaving your house and you are out of direct sunlight you can skip the SPF. The Ren lactic glow tonic is amazing and if it doesn't bother you using it twice a day then definitely keep it up. I do. It is a great balancing toner that doesn't leave you feeling like you need a heavy moisturizer because you just stripped your skin. I noticed a few years ago that Caroline said that she can't use anything with shea butter, and I found that it was the reason that my skin was going crazy. There are some great moisturizers that don't have shea butter in them. I would start there and see if it makes a difference.

If anything, I've found that silicones are the perfect middle grounds for light moisture and deep eclusivity for my combination skin.
