I'm from the Cook Islands, and I've always enjoyed drumming growing up. Especially at school, when the boys and I would just sometimes drum during lunch time..But I find tahitian druming strange and interesting at the same time..its cool asssssss....👌👌
Anyone know if there’s an online directory of all the type beats there are for toere? I learned some from past teachers but I couldn’t remember a bulk of them and would love to refresh and document for future reference☆彡
It's been a year and I've finally figured out the drum beat was something called the "Whirling Wind"(Pate Mat Ai) which has it's origins in Bora Bora and it is such a cool beat. I am surprised someone else hasn't responded? I wanted to share it with you all and here is a link: th-cam.com/video/3goMocK9tgI/w-d-xo.html Put it on "Loop" and listen to it for hours. Cool !
Oh please. The inferior compelx of the Kuki Airani towards their Maohi cousins is pathetic. They don't even know who you are or that you exists lol. Kukis always claiming they started everything, yet you came from Tahiti Nui E, and their culture is older than yours. They came 1st.
Love her been watching her for years 🙌🏾🔥inspiring 💛💜
So cool! I love Tahitian drumming. And kudos to you for being one of the rare wahine to drum!!
