Awesome to see you building the clock! Love the series man. I would recommend maybe changing the clock design though before you commit 100% to it. I think the 12 sticking up off the top by itself will look really funky in a not great way. I also think if you fill the clock with shoes you'll see that the design you have now actually makes more of an oval with the shoes, not a circle. And I'd also maybe make it a bit larger to leave more space between shoes so you can have a little cleaner look and a larger clock in the middle. I'm a bit worried the middle clock pieces will look tiny and disproportionately small compared the shoes. I'm a graphic designer and photo editor and could mock up the clock in Photoshop to real dimensions if you'd like! Would love to help make it as perfect as it can be! This is of course just my opinion, take it with a grain of salt :)
the 12 being the only shoe that's gonna come up off of the wood would drive me crazy layout out wise. Would def recommend laying the shelf out in blender or sketchup if you want to be precise before building it out.

LETS GOOOO CLOCK BUILD! Dude, its going to look so dope when you paint it! Also, if you put some foam, or a wooden border on the back, it'll help seat the clock away from the wall, so the wall doesn't get scratched, should you choose to mount it!!

I used to work at a thrift store and the best find was in a box down in our basement where we store all of the stuff we don't have room for. I was bringing up a box and unpacking it and there was a pair of LA Lakers Dunk lows from 2004 with the LA stylized to look like a 24. I cleaned them up and put a ton of leather conditioner on them since the leather felt like plastic. And I was able to sell them for $300, oh and my boss let me have them for free.

The clock came out way better than you think it does. However I think ur making it more complicated than it should be.
What if u were to 3D print some shelves close to the size of the clear ones you used and use those on the wall with no baseboard. U can use command strips hooks to support the shelves. They have hooked ones and flat ones that can support up to 10 pounds.

I'm so jealous of these thrift store videos that you keep posting. Here in Sweden the closest thing I can get to a trift store is Facebook shop. Found a pair of jordans 1 pumpkin spice in 9 or 8/10 condition for 50$, but nothing compared to your finds.

Thrift stores occasionally do have some heat. I've copped near deadstock Pigeon dunk sbs, og jordan 1 Chicagos, Freddy Kruger dunk sbs, Paris dunk sbs, nike air max 90 off whites, and Nike Air Force 1 PlayStations.
I would cop those KD 7 super quick . And been searching the the KD aunt pearl 6s in my size id pay top dollar.

Watching this old video...too funny, you were looking at those crazy Chameleon Jordan 6 - 6:18 - and thinking "I saw these at my local Platos for months," This IS my local Plato's Closet! 😂 These sat on that rack until...I'm thinking Summer 2023, then didn't see them anymore. Either they finally sold or maybe recycled, no idea? But I really do wish this Plato's moves to a larger space nearby. Not a huge selection of Mens clothing here, finding decent heat here has kinda dried up. Simply have to wait for these "sneaker events" now.

I assume some of the sneakers will have to face the other way.
For example, it doesn't look like the 2 would fit under the shelf above if it's rotated this way.
On the other hand, the 5 would not fit the other way around.
The worst fit will be probably 3 and 9.
This is already pretty big, but I think it should have been bigger to leave enough space for every shoe.
But I might be wrong, I really hope that it will work out and look great :)

I think you should just keep the clock background how it is and just make it look more like a piece of a gym floor or paint a free throw line on it for more details.
Ay I got some good ideas for season three after watching the first two seasons. I’m genuinely curious to see how different the series would be if you made a new eBay account solely for this to demonstrate how getting sales for a beginner isn’t as easy as you make it look

On the clock you should have each shoe have the number they are behind them that would look freah
So next time you wanna make it look semantical do 360/12= 30° so every 30° make a mark for another shelf. That way you know that every shelf will line up like a clock. I give you props on trying. Carpentry isn't for everyone. Especially for people who have a hard time with geometry.
